I visited Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch (핸즈커피 동촌유원지점) for brunch with friends. We went expecting coffee and a light meal, but the pasta stayed with me more after we ate. My friends also said it was tasty, and I would like to order the pasta again next time.

Is there group seating and outdoor space?

The first floor is the entrance; the second has the ordering area and seating; the third has seating; and the fourth is a rooftop. The elevator runs from the second through fourth floors, which made moving between them convenient.

The café was spacious, and each floor had a slightly different feel. More than the size of the space, I liked looking around at the different atmosphere on each floor.

There was a range of seating, from tables for two to spaces for larger groups. Along with standard tables, there were floor-style seats, window seats, and sofa seats, so I could choose based on the group size or my mood.

Outdoor tables were set up on the fourth-floor rooftop. Outside, I could see mountains in the distance and the cityscape. I thought it would be nice to sit outside with coffee on a day with good weather.

How were the pasta and salad for brunch?

The double tray came with chicken granola salad and creamy mushroom pasta. The food was served in an upper-and-lower arrangement, and the portion felt quite generous when it arrived.

The creamy mushroom pasta paired large noodles with a mushroom-flavored cream sauce. Eating it with the crisp topping added a change in texture. I did not expect much from café pasta, but after trying this dish, I said I would come back just for the pasta.

The pasta, also described in the original post as paccheri cream pasta, had a generous coating of cream sauce on its thick, wide noodles. Bacon made it rich and savory, and even while sharing it with friends, I kept reaching for more.

The chicken granola salad included greens, chicken, cherry tomatoes, croutons, granola, and fresh olives. The olives added a salty note, while the granola and croutons were crisp. Taking bites between the creamy pasta made it feel less rich, and the combination worked well.

How was the coffee with the meal?

Among the coffees, the latte stood out most. I took a sip and liked it, so I recommended it to my friends too, and the three of us took turns tasting it.

What was most convenient was being able to enjoy coffee in the same place after brunch, without moving to another café. It was good for continuing our conversation after eating, and I would like to order coffee and pasta together again next time.
