Brunch with a kid in Juyeop, Goyang: French toast set at Like Like

I went out for brunch with my kid after a long while :) You know that moment when it's a bit awkward to have a proper meal for breakfast, but just having bread at a café also feels a little lacking? That day I was craving good French toast, so we went to Like Like, a brunch café in Juyeop.

They have a French toast plate that comes with not just French toast but also salad, bacon, sausage and egg scramble, so it worked out well as a full meal with my kid. Apparently this place is also dog-friendly, so a lot of people come here for brunch with their dogs too.

The French toast plate we shared with our kid

What we ordered as our main was the French toast plate (₩15,400) at Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch. It's not just French toast — it comes with French toast + salad + bacon + sausage + egg scramble all together.

The French toast is sweet and the bacon and sausage are salty, so eating them together worked better than I expected~

When you're having brunch with a kid, it's nice to have even one more item that suits their taste, haha. My kid ate the egg scramble and sausage along with the French toast. If it had just been the French toast alone it would have felt a bit lacking, but with the salad added it worked out as a proper meal :) We also had the blueberry yogurt bowl and orange juice that came with the set.

The blueberry yogurt bowl was nice to eat as a finishing dessert. Since the French toast leans sweet, having the yogurt bowl at the end refreshed the palate nicely. The orange juice was also good to share with my kid :)

Maple butter French toast, ordered on its own

My kid, who loves French toast, ordered one more maple butter French toast (₩8,600) as a single item, haha.

It's a menu item you can enjoy sweetly with maple and butter drizzled on top. If you're someone who always needs one sweet item, you'll probably love this one, haha.

And here's the potato soup we got with a Naver coupon. Having a warm soup alongside the brunch menu made the meal even more filling.

We got a peach iced tea through a review event. It was nice that there were so many menu items you could get through review events! We picked the peach iced tea since that's what my kid wanted, haha. Coupons and review events can vary depending on when you visit, so it's worth checking when you go.

A Juyeop brunch café you can bring your dog to

One thing that caught my eye at Like Like! Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch is a dog-friendly café you can visit with your dog. On top of the human brunch menu, they also have a separate menu just for dogs.

The dog menu includes dog donut ₩5,000 / dog pizza ₩5,000 / puppuccino ₩4,500. In particular, if you order the dog brunch set, you get dog donut or dog pizza + puppuccino for ₩8,000.

A lot of the time when you go to a café with your dog, only you get to eat while your dog just waits, so it was surprising to see a place with a separate menu the dog can eat too, haha. That said, large dogs apparently need to use the outdoor terrace seating, so if you're visiting with a large dog, keep that in mind. Still, if you're looking for a dog-friendly café in the Juyeop area, this is a good place to remember for enjoying brunch together with your dog :)

Final verdict on Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch

Both the French toast plate and the maple butter French toast were delicious. With the salad, bacon, sausage and egg scramble all included, it worked well as a full brunch meal with my kid. There are also Naver reservation coupons, review events, and a separate dog menu, so this place is worth keeping in mind whether you're visiting with your child or want to enjoy brunch together with your dog :)
