Chicken tender poke set with strawberry smoothie: Like Like, Goyang

I went for brunch at Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch! I found it while looking for brunch cafés in Ilsan, and the menu turned out to be way bigger than I expected haha. Looking at the menu board, there were quite a few things I wanted to try.

The exterior already had such a cute, emotional vibe haha. There's a big round sign that says LIKE LIKE, so I think first-time visitors would find it easily!!

There's a big menu board right at the entrance too, so you can browse before going in. There are also a few outdoor tables, so on a nice day it'd be great to sit outside~~

What the inside of Like Like Juyeop looks like

The inside is cozy and so cute too,, everything was decorated so nicely in little details,,! It was fun just looking around (the monkey decoration is stupidly cute).

Brunch menu and set upgrades at Like Like Juyeop

The brunch menu here was way more varied than I expected!!! From the signature French toast plate to salads, poke, paninis and more, there's enough variety that people with different tastes can all pick something they like haha. And true to being a dog-friendly café, they even have things like a 'mung-puccino' for dogs (so cute). Made me think it'd be nice to bring my dogs, Gana and Di, next time.

And one more great thing! Every menu item can be turned into a set?! You can upgrade one item into a set with a choice of potato cream soup or banana blueberry yogurt bowl (+₩2,500) plus a drink. Drinks are your choice of grapefruit juice, orange juice, milk, or cola, and you can pick your side too haha.

Looks so good right... The portions were pretty generous too. It was so pretty visually that I spent forever taking photos first haha 📸

How does the French toast plate taste?

They said French toast is the signature brunch item, so I tried it, and I could totally see why,,!

The French toast was moist and soft, so it was easy to cut through with a fork, and the sausage that came with it was tasty too! Above all, the ingredients overall felt fresh, which made it taste even better,,! Brunch usually feels like a light meal, but the portions here were heartier than expected, so it's good enough for a full breakfast or lunch!!

Is the chicken tender poke filling enough for a meal?

The vegetables in the poke were so fresh too!! Nice crunchy texture, and there was a good amount of chicken tenders, so it was more filling than expected. The chicken tenders are made from tenderloin, so they weren't dry at all — soft and crispy, and really delicious. When you want to eat light but don't want just a plain salad, or on a day you're watching your diet, this chicken tender poke is exactly right.

The set drink: strawberry yogurt smoothie at half price

And this strawberry yogurt smoothie friend,, seriously so good!!! It's tangy and sweet, you can really taste the yogurt, and the strawberry sweetness came through stronger than I expected... surprising. Since ordering a set gets you 50% off the drink, you have to get the strawberry yogurt smoothie lol.

Is Like Like Ilsan Juyeop worth a visit?

The atmosphere is cute and pretty, the brunch menu is varied, and the food itself is good, so overall I was really satisfied haha. Best of all, it's dog-friendly, so next time I want to bring my dogs Gana and Di along too 🐶🤎 If you're looking for a dog-friendly brunch café in Ilsan, or just want to enjoy a good brunch and relax, this place is worth a visit!!
