Lip tattoo in Seocho, Seoul: coral upper-lip line at Lamoon Brow

My lips usually looked dull and purplish, and I was also concerned about their outline, so I looked into lip tattooing. Since it is a semi-permanent treatment, I read many reviews; I chose Lamoon Brow (라문브로우) near Gangnam Station because I liked its examples of naturally corrected lip lines.

Where is Lamoon Brow, and is parking available?

The address is 42 Seocho-daero 78-gil, 4th floor, Room 412, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea. I entered through the Hyeondae Girin Officetel entrance and went up to the fourth floor.

I rang the bell outside Room 412, and the owner greeted me.

The hours listed in the original post were 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with Sundays closed. Parking was also available, listed at ₩1,200 for the first 10 minutes and for each additional 10 minutes, with a maximum charge of ₩20,000.

How did the lip-color consultation work?

After filling out a brief treatment consent form, I discussed lip color. I was told that bringing lip products I normally use could help with the color consultation.

I have never had a personal color analysis, but I like coral shades. The owner said autumn tones suited me first, followed by spring tones, and decided to include the coral color I like in the mix.

They checked my lips after I removed the makeup around them. They also gave me a separate mask to wear on my way home.

Which part of my lip line was corrected?

Before the treatment, I was concerned that my lip color looked dull and pale. My lips are not especially wide and are fairly rounded, so we decided to leave the lower-lip line as it was and correct only the upper-lip line.

When I looked at other reviews, lines that strayed too far from the original lip shape looked unnatural to me. So I wanted to preserve my original shape.

How long did the treatment take, and how painful was it for me?

After the consultation, I moved to the treatment room. Excluding the consultation, the treatment seemed to take about an hour, and I was comfortable throughout.

They applied plenty of pain-relief cream before starting. It was not very painful for me during the treatment, though the level of pain felt different depending on the area of my lips.

How did the color and lip shape look right after the treatment?

Right after it was finished, I liked that my original rounded lip shape was preserved while my upper-lip line looked more defined. It looked natural to me, and I was happy with the color too.

Comparing before and after, I could see a difference in my lip color. When my usual lip product wore off, my lips looked purplish and people sometimes asked whether I was cold; right afterward, they looked more lively than before.

How did my lip color change after the peeling?

I was told that aftercare was important. Since I have many lip lines, I was told I would need to take extra care. I was also told that I could ask the shop through KakaoTalk if I had additional questions.

In my case, a lot of peeling occurred on day three, and my lip color was a little lighter when I wrote this. The shop explained that the color would gradually return and settle naturally from after day 10.

The color was still lighter, but to my eyes my lips looked clearer than before the treatment. The pain I felt on this visit was not severe, and I was satisfied that my upper-lip line was corrected while preserving my original shape.
