In short
Hantiok (한티옥) Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport Branch is a Korean restaurant in Gangseo, Seoul. Its 22,000-won bossam set for two included Korean beef noodles, pork wraps, dumplings, tofu, and salad. Verdict: a filling way to sample several Korean dishes in one meal.

Hantiok is a Korean restaurant with a 50-year tradition, and with its bossam set you can choose either Korean beef gukbap (rice soup) or Korean beef guksu (noodle soup). From bossam (boiled pork wraps) to dumplings, tofu, and salad, it comes as a full table spread, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes for ₩22,000 per person :) (Korean beef gukbap and Korean beef guksu are ₩15,000 à la carte.)

Hantiok’s location on the GF floor of Gimpo Airport Lotte Mall

You can go straight to Lotte Mall from Gimpo Airport Station through the underground subway passage without having to head outside, which is so convenient! Gimpo Airport gets plenty of visitors not only flying out but also shopping at Lotte Mall or going to see a movie. Since it connects directly to the station, you can visit without being too affected by the weather, which I loved. It was also easy to go shopping right after eating :)

Inside, it had the neat atmosphere of a Korean restaurant, with warm wood tones and traditional lattice patterns :)

The bossam set with Korean beef noodles and pork

We ordered the bossam set for two that day.
- Bossam
- Korean beef gukbap or Korean beef guksu
- Dumplings and tofu
- Wrap vegetables, salad, and side dishes

It filled the table like this, and the spread was more generous than I expected, haha.
How were the Korean beef noodles?

They say it is made with domestic Korean beef graded 1+ or higher!

From the first spoonful, I could taste the deep, rich broth. It was clean and comforting rather than overpowering. The noodle portion was generous too, and I loved adding rice and mixing it in to eat it like gukbap, haha.
Bossam with seasoned radish

The bossam had a nice balance of lean meat and fat, making it tender and clean-tasting 🐷 Each piece was a comfortable size to eat, too. Piling on plenty of spicy seasoned radish added a crisp texture, and that was personally my favorite combination! There were lots of accompaniments, including ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), garlic, and chili peppers, so you could eat it however you liked.

It also went wonderfully with the spicy seasoned radish served alongside it, and it was delicious wrapped in lettuce with a piece of bossam, garlic, and chili pepper :)
A satisfying spread with dumplings, tofu, and salad
The side dishes were substantial too!

The dumplings were large, with a chewy wrapper full of meat, glass noodles, chives, and more.

The tofu was lightly blanched, so it was mild and paired nicely with the bossam.

The salad was crisp with a sweet-and-tangy flavor, making it nice to have before the meal.
Final thoughts on the bossam set

These days, it is not easy to find such a generous Korean set meal in Seoul in the ₩20,000 range. For ₩22,000 per person, I was satisfied that I could enjoy such a variety: bossam, Korean beef gukbap or noodles, dumplings, tofu, and salad.
Rather than getting just one main dish, the biggest strength of this bossam set was being able to taste a little of everything, from noodles and meat to dumplings and tofu. I think it would suit anyone having a meal with their parents at Gimpo Airport Lotte Mall or looking for a hearty Korean meal 😊
Since it is inside Lotte Mall at Gimpo Airport Station, it is easy to visit before or after shopping. High chairs are available as well, so it looked like a good spot for a family meal too :)
