How far from Gangnam Station, and what about parking?

Selected Nicks, a large café located a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station.

The outdoor terrace seating caught my eye as soon as I arrived. With the nice weather lately, the lush green terrace looked perfect for spring or fall visits.

Looking at the floor guide on the staircase at the entrance, about five floors were operating as café space, not counting the rooftop — a truly massive space, very fitting for a large Gangnam café.

The 1st-floor dessert corner: basket-picking
Walking into the 1st floor of Selected Nicks felt like stepping into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory — so flashy my eyes couldn't keep up.

There was a huge variety of desserts — baked goods, tiramisu cakes, jellies, caramels, you name it.

How Selected Nicks works: grab a basket, freely pick whatever you like from any corner, and pay at the counter. I normally love bakery items and desserts and got completely absorbed browsing, but since I'm dieting these days, I only picked one thing — the tiramisu.

There were so many types of tiramisu, but I went with the signature classic tiramisu and an iced Americano!

Seating by floor and the gallery — where to sit?
After ordering, I had to figure out which floor to head to. Selected Nicks' seating by space is:
- B1 – Café (30 seats)
- 1F – Café & main space (45 seats)
- 2F – Café & gallery (10 seats)
- 8F – Café (timed operation, 30 seats)
- RF – Rooftop & photo zone (12 seats)
The 8th floor only opens from 5pm, so I checked out the 2nd and 3rd floors first and settled into a spot I liked.

Despite being such a big café, it was quiet and comfortable, great for getting work done. The 2nd floor also has a gallery, so I browsed the artwork — plenty to enjoy at this Gangnam Station café.

How the classic tiramisu and iced Americano taste
Iced Americano and classic tiramisu. Selected Nicks says its classic tiramisu uses fresh eggs and cheese following an authentic Italian recipe, with the café's own twist added on top. It had deep flavor and a chewy texture — genuinely delicious tiramisu. The tiramisu was soft and moist, while the iced Americano was nutty with no sourness. The pairing of coffee and tiramisu was excellent.

The Gangnam view from the rooftop
Before leaving, I checked out the rooftop too. It's a wide-open space, and with the great weather on the day of my visit there were lots of people — plus the café building is tall, so the Gangnam view was stunning.
