Hi, it's Hyeonding! I stopped by Wonz Coffee, the café everyone always recommends near Seoul Children's Grand Park. It's close to my place so I've grabbed coffee here plenty of times before, but this time I tried their new milk bingsu and it was so good!
Location and parking at Wonz Coffee Children's Grand Park Main Branch
Wonz Coffee's main branch sits between Children's Grand Park and Guui Station. You need to walk a bit inland from Exit 1 of Guui Station! There's a lot of good food around Guui Station's restaurant alley, so grabbing coffee at Wonz first and then dinner nearby makes a great Guui-dong date course. It'd also be great for takeout on your way into the park, haha.
Parking out front seems to fit only 1–2 cars, and it's often full, so if you're planning to park, I'd recommend calling ahead.
Seating, dogs, and working on a laptop — how is it?
Inside Wonz Coffee near Children's Grand Park, there's a great variety of seating! Two-person tables good for laptop work, four-person tables, and even sofa seats, haha. I've worked on my laptop here before and it was quiet and pleasant on a weekday afternoon. The sofa seats looked super comfy, so I want to sit there next time.
Also, Wonz Coffee is a dog-friendly café! Last time I visited there was an unbelievably cute pup, and I couldn't stop smiling like a proud mom... so happy. Please bring your cute babies along too!
Menu, prices, and no extra charge for decaf
Wonz Coffee has more than just coffee — lots of dessert options too. Egg tarts, financiers, cookies! And I just noticed they even have scones, haha.
One unusual thing: americano, latte, and flat white are all the same price! And normally decaf comes with a surcharge, but Wonz Coffee doesn't charge extra for it?! So great... Plus takeout gets you ₩1,000 off, and bringing your own tumbler gets you ₩1,500 off! Carrying a tumbler around has been so nice lately, so I'll definitely bring one next time.

On one side of the café, they've got Da Vinci Code and chess set out! I really love Da Vinci Code but didn't have time to play that day, haha, so sad.
Pour-your-own-shot coffee — what does ONES mean?
At Wonz Coffee, they bring your order straight to your table once you order! The mango bingsu, iced americano, and latte all arrived, haha.
Along with the coffee comes a little info card about the beans — my husband and I usually prefer a nutty flavor! We both ordered decaf, and apparently the decaf uses a green blend bean known for its nutty aroma.
At Wonz Coffee near Children's Grand Park, ONES apparently stands for 'One Nice Experience Self'! Instead of handing you a finished coffee, they give you the shot separately so you can mix it in yourself. You just give the shot glass a gentle swirl and pour it in.
Whether I'm making coffee at home or pouring a shot like this, it just feels satisfying somehow, haha. Is it just me? Anyway, being given the chance to do it myself made it even better >.<
Pouring a shot into my husband's latte too — watching it swirl together with the milk is so soothing, haha.
How does the mango milk bingsu taste?
Since it's milk bingsu before the mango goes on, I figured the ice itself would already taste great, so I tried it first! Sure enough, there was a strong nutty milk flavor along with a sweet condensed-milk taste — delicious.
After tasting it plain, time to add the mango~ There was a generous amount of mango, which I loved! It's not fresh mango, but it was plenty tasty, and eating it together with the milk ice — need I say more, it's delicious! My husband and I both went silent and just inhaled it, haha.
Wonz Coffee also has a spot for brewing Dutch coffee and a Dutch coffee fridge! They sell drip bag sets and Dutch coffee sets too, which look great for gifts.
Final thoughts
It had been a while since my husband and I went to a café together for tasty bingsu and coffee. Wonz Coffee is great for working on a laptop, and just as good for chatting with friends! The café even has board games. Dogs are welcome too, as long as they're fully vaccinated — bring them along anytime. It's a spot known for great milk bingsu and coffee, so if you're looking for a good café near Children's Grand Park, give it a visit.
