It's been a while since I went on a date with my boyfriend without a kid tagging along! The weather's been so unpredictable lately, and while looking for somewhere fun to play indoors, I found this new large-scale theme park!

Jump in Nowon: parking, booking and the sneaker rule

Jump is an indoor theme park at 102 Hangeulbiseok-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, with parking available only at ground level. Online and on-site prices are the same, and since pre-booked guests get priority entry, I walked right in with no wait.

Parking is ground-level only and it's expected to get crowded on weekends, so I'd really recommend taking public transit if you can!

For safety, sneakers are really a must! Slippers or Crocs will get your entry restricted. If you don't have any, you can buy a pair on-site for ₩8,000, but they might not have your size, so bring your own to be safe!

How do Jump's ticket types differ?

Jump's tickets are split into Kids Ground, PLAY, and ADVENTURE. If you're coming as adults only, the ADVENTURE ticket, which covers all facilities, is the one you want.

Kids Ground is a space just for kids under 120cm or preschool age. PLAY tickets are recommended for preschoolers over 100cm, guardians entering with their kids, or kids/adults who find the adventure facilities too intimidating. ADVENTURE tickets let you use every facility — recommended for elementary schoolers 120cm and up, or adults. Accompanying guardians need to buy the same ticket type.

Weekday visit with no wait, and what opens after the grand opening

I heard Jump will have even more to play with after its grand opening on September 30 (planned). A paid Battle World drift cart is coming to the first floor, and a Sky Glider is joining the second floor! Since I visited on a weekday in early September right after school started, I hopped on everything immediately with no wait.

I started with the Sky Trail in Jump's first-floor Adventure Zone. It's a course usable for guests 120cm and up — a survival course where you step across obstacles three stories high.

My boyfriend looked genuinely terrified and seriously considered bailing halfway through. Good thing you can drop out midway!

Guardians, please stop kids who don't like scary stuff from climbing too high! And if you have serious acrophobia, this is absolutely off-limits for you!

Luckily I don't have a fear of heights, so I even made it through the zipline having a blast.

Clip 'n Climb, net play and foot climb at Jump

Next up was Clip 'n Climb, my first time trying climbing ever. I thought it would just be about arm strength, but nope! It was surprisingly dynamic and fun. The moment you reach the top and have to grab the rope and jump off did take some real courage though.

Net play is basically a giant jungle gym, so my boyfriend and I ran around like elementary schoolers! Foot climb is a digital climbing game where you dodge obstacles on a screen, and it was super fun.

Laser survival and the 2F Super Challenge

I also tried Jump's first-floor laser survival — there were no other guests, so it was just me and my boyfriend. Having only the two of us in that big space was a bit of a shame, but it felt like a sniper showdown, which was fun in its own way! FYI, kids in first grade or up can play solo, and preschoolers over 100cm can join with a guardian.

The second floor also has a Super Challenge course that feels straight out of a game show obstacle course, but my grip strength is weak so I didn't dare try it.

Screen game arcade and the RC car and mini-car racing zone

Jump also has a screen game arcade with a wide variety of games.

They also had a heavy-equipment RC car zone and a mini-car racing zone — every grown man's dream! It's paid content so I just watched this time, but I think it'll really hit the spot for guys.

Restaurants and cafeteria on Jump's second floor

Jump's second floor has restaurants and a cafeteria! Guardians can read a book or get a paid massage here, or grab a meal after playing with the kids! There was Namsan Donkkaseu, Mom's Touch, and Star Gomtang, among others!

Who is Jump in Nowon best suited for?

Jump is a great fit if you're looking for a kids' cafe or indoor playground in Nowon, or trying to figure out where to host a kid's birthday party. It's also plenty fun for adults on their own, so I'd recommend it as an adult date spot in Nowon too.

Especially if you're looking for things to do or places to visit in Nowon, I'd say give this a try at least once. And of course, parents with elementary-age kids can come here instead of a kids' cafe to completely burn off their energy!
