Marisan-ro Korean restaurant in Yeongjong, ₩59,000 rib stew: 300°C
In short
300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch is a Korean restaurant on Marisan-ro in Yeongjong, Incheon, specializing in haemul deungalbijjim (seafood and pork rib stew). For lunch on day one of a two-day Yeongjong trip, two people ordered the rib stew for two at ₩59,000 in medium spice and shared two abalones, octopus and pork ribs with a bowl of rice. The heat was exactly as the menu promises — between Shin Ramyun and Buldak Bokkeummyeon — so 300°C Seafood Galbi suits anyone wanting something other than Yeongjong's usual grilled shellfish and kalguksu.

We visited 300°C Seafood Galbi for lunch on the first day of a two-day trip to Yeongjong. Coming to Yeongjong, you usually end up looking for grilled shellfish or kalguksu (noodle soup), but that day we wanted something a bit different and filling, so we picked a place where you can eat seafood and pork ribs at the same time.

We ordered the seafood braised ribs for two at ₩59,000 plus one bowl of rice, and chose medium spice. There was a review event running — if you leave a review you get either udon noodles or a drink on the house, and we went with the drink.
If you like both seafood and meat, this is a pretty good menu to try when you're looking for something different in Korean food in Yeongjong, since you get both in one dish.
How big is 300°C Seafood Galbi on Marisan-ro?
When we arrived, the building was bigger than I expected.

A big '300°C Seafood Galbi' sign on the exterior made it easy to spot from the street, and the front of the building had photos of several menu items like seafood kalguksu, seafood pajeon (savory pancake), and stir-fried octopus.

Inside was also quite spacious. Tables were set with plenty of room and the overall mood was bright and clean, so it looked like a good spot for families or larger groups too.

On one side there was a separate pet-friendly seating area, with a notice asking guests to use a carrier or bag when moving around and to be considerate of other customers. If you're planning a Yeongjong trip with a dog, this could be worth keeping in mind.

Inside the restaurant there were also posters and signs related to TV filming, along with a certificate on display stating the restaurant won 'Excellence in Seafood Dishes' twice at the 2026 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Awards.
What ₩59,000 gets you: the rib stew for two at 300°C Seafood Galbi
Our seafood braised ribs for two arrived, and it was even more generous than it looked in photos.

A big bowl was full of red sauce, with two whole abalones sitting right in the middle — the visual alone was impressive. Underneath were octopus, various seafood, ribs, rice cakes and vegetables, so it was fun to pick through and eat one thing at a time.
Usually a seafood stew (haemuljjim) leans seafood-heavy and a rib stew (galbijjim) leans meat-heavy, but here, true to its name, seafood and ribs sit together in one bowl. Taking a bite of ribs, then octopus and seafood, then vegetables or rice cake soaked in sauce — even though it's technically one dish, it felt like eating a whole spread.

So it felt like a great Korean-food option in Yeongjong for a group where one person loves seafood stew and another loves meat.
How spicy is medium? Between Shin Ramyun and Buldak
You could choose from mild, medium, or spicy, and we went with medium.

The menu describes medium as roughly between Shin Ramyun and Buldak Bokkeummyeon (spicy fire noodles) in heat, and eating it for ourselves, that description was spot on. It's not painfully spicy from the first bite — it starts out tastily spicy, and the heat builds up in your mouth the more you eat.

If you find Shin Ramyun totally manageable but think Buldak Bokkeummyeon is quite spicy, medium here will probably start feeling pretty hot by the end too. On the flip side, if you already like spicy food, this should be an enjoyably spicy level for you.
The sauce wasn't just about heat — there was a sweet, rich depth to it too, and it went well with both the seafood and the ribs.
Alternating pork ribs, abalone and octopus
Personally, my favorite part of this dish was being able to alternate between ribs and seafood. The ribs were evenly coated in red sauce, so picking the meat off the bone gave a proper sweet-and-spicy hit, and the same sauce worked just as well with octopus and other seafood.
With two whole abalones sitting on top, it really did feel like a proper seafood stew, and there was plenty tucked in at the bottom too, so it was filling for two people. Compared to a seafood stew that's all seafood, having meat mixed in made it feel a bit more substantial overall.
Why a bowl of rice is essential with this sauce
Eating the seafood braised ribs, there was no way we weren't ordering rice. We added just one bowl and shared it between the two of us, and the sauce itself was the kind that goes perfectly with rice.
Picking rib meat off the bone, piling it on rice, and adding a little of the red sauce on top made it dangerously good with rice, and having a bite of rice after the spicy seafood helped tone down the heat a bit too — a good combination.

There was also a review event running, where leaving a review after your meal got you udon noodles or a drink on the house. We chose the drink, and since medium turned out spicier than expected, I was glad we did.
Worth it for a different Korean meal in Yeongjong?
Overall, 300°C Seafood Galbi was a good pick when you want something a bit different from the grilled shellfish or kalguksu that usually come to mind in Yeongjong.

Being able to eat seafood and ribs at once was the clear standout, and the portion for two was more generous than expected, so it was filling for two people. Above all, the medium spice we chose really was between Shin Ramyun and Buldak Bokkeummyeon as advertised, which should suit anyone who likes spicy food.

If you want a filling meal in a spacious, clean space, or you're looking for Korean food in Yeongjong that lets you enjoy spicy seafood stew and meat at the same time, this is worth keeping in mind. If you're after a slightly different Yeongjong Korean-food option during your trip, the seafood braised ribs are worth trying :)
