Where is Rolly Polly Yeongjong Sky City, and what does it look like?

I stopped by Rolly Polly Yeongjong Sky City while looking for jelly and waffle balls in Yeongjong~ It's located at 105-ho, 80 Haneuldalbit-ro, Yeongjong-gu, so it's an easy stop if you're already out around Sky City. The storefront catches your eye from the street, and even walking past you can feel the colorful vibe haha.

The exterior already felt a bit different from a typical snack shop! Maybe it's the name Rolly Polly, but even outside the store there's a cute, colorful feel, and I think kids passing by would definitely stop for a second look. Since it's a place where you can pick out and play with or eat things like slime and jelly, the store itself felt like a fun experience~ Honestly, before going in I thought I'd just browse the jelly, but once inside there was way more to see than I expected, so I ended up doing a full loop haha.

Walking inside, the first thing that catches your eye is, of course, the colorful snacks. There are so many colors and shapes that just looking around the store felt a little like a treasure hunt. Some things looked totally different from what you'd normally find at a convenience store or supermarket, so I found myself examining them one by one haha.

And you can't talk about Rolly Polly without mentioning the slime! There's a wide variety of slime-related products, so kids who love slime would probably have a great time browsing. The colors and types are so varied it's hard to just walk past haha. If you enjoy playing with or making slime yourself, comparing and picking things out in the store would be fun.

Beyond slime, there were also sensory-play items like waffle balls, which meant even more to look at. You know how just looking at these sensory toys makes you want to reach out and touch them haha. There were several colorful options, which seemed great for kids to pick out themselves.

There's also a section for toys and play items, so what I assumed was just a snack shop turned out to have a lot more variety than expected. There were plenty of cute products kids would love, so if a parent and child visit together, the kid would probably spend a good while picking things out.

The deeper you go into the store, the more variety of jelly you see. There are so many kinds of jelly that just doing a lap around took quite a while haha.

With so many shapes and colors, even within jelly alone there was a lot to see type by type. From cute animal-shaped jellies to colorful ones, there was enough variety that jelly lovers would have fun just browsing.

What made it especially fun was that you can pick and scoop your own jelly. I told myself I'd only grab a few, but once I saw all the options laid out in front of me, I wanted to add this one and that one too haha.

Besides jelly, there was also candy and various other snacks, so I found myself checking things out one by one. Normally when I grocery shop I just grab what I need quickly, but in a place like this, browsing is fun even when you don't need anything.

There were also drinks available, so I could buy them along with snacks. After browsing all sorts of things, I ended up choosing jelly and ramune. In the end, all that browsing meant I picked up snacks for myself too haha.

Inside, products are neatly arranged by category, making it easy to wander around slowly. Rather than just going for jelly, I ended up looking at slime, sensory-play items, toys, and snacks too — there was more to see than I expected.

Is Rolly Polly fun for adults too, or just for kids?

If you visit with kids, it's more fun than just buying a single snack — kids get to search for and pick out exactly what they want inside the store. Kids who like slime or sensory-play items might actually spend longer there than at the jelly section haha.

On the flip side, it's also surprisingly fun to visit with other adults. Someone like me who loves jelly ends up standing at the jelly corner for ages, and if there's a nostalgic snack or something I've never seen before, I can't help but check it out. So I think this place is worth a visit not just for people looking for a slime café in Yeongjong or somewhere to bring kids, but also for anyone who just wants to browse fun snacks~
