Verdict: the numbing pepper aroma and generous add-ons made it a great meal.

Yuseong Korean restaurant for mild seafood braise: Seommaeul

Seommaeul Agujjim & Nakjibokkeum is a Korean seafood restaurant in Yuseong, Daejeon, serving agujjim (braised monkfish) and other seafood dishes. A phone-reserved small agujjim with octopus was generous for two, with gently seasoned sauce, fried rice, and homemade sikhye; the spacious private rooms also suit gatherings. Verdict: A satisfying choice for a well-balanced seafood meal in Yuseong.
