Cafe Dunchi is a café at the Namdaecheon Water Sports Center in Yangyang, Gangwon, where visitors can take an electric boat on the river. I rode a round boat with my child and my mother, then had drinks at the café. The boat moved slowly, but steering it was difficult at first.
Hwangbuja Twigim is a Korean restaurant in Sokcho Central Market’s squid sundae alley. I took its nurungji squid sundae and king prawn fritters back to my accommodation for beer snacks; the prawns were plump, while the squid sundae paired tender squid with a crisp exterior.

The rich corn flavor and cozy interior stood out, though the outdoor terrace and rooftop are no-kids zones.
