Seonjeongneung lash lift with black tinting at On The Boutique

On The Boutique is a 1:1 eyelash salon in Gangnam, Seoul, a one-minute walk from Seonjeongneung Station. Two months after her last lift the curl had dropped completely, so the writer traveled from Dongtan, and director Rahee noted that her right eyelid was fuller and fine-tuned an L-curl so the lashes would not touch the lid, finishing the On-the-Ddolmang Perm with black tinting (40,000 won) in 50 minutes. Her eyes looked defined even bare-faced and the curl still held a week later, making the trip to On The Boutique worth it.

Sioldon Ilwon Branch is a tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet) restaurant on the Ilwon-dong food street in Gangnam, Seoul. On a weekday around 2pm, a couple ordered one premium sirloin katsu set and one tenderloin katsu set at Sioldon and compared them side by side — the husband preferred the chewy sirloin, the wife the melt-in-the-mouth tenderloin. With parking running down to basement level 6 and sushi pressed without wasabi on request, Teukbyeolhan Chobap suits solo diners and families with children alike.
