Tablet-order lunch with a kid at Gijang outlet restaurant: Bueokgan

It suddenly turned into proper autumn weather and the sky was so pretty, so our family headed to Shinsegae Outlet in Jeonggwan. It was cool enough outside that we didn't feel hot at all, so my daughter and I went to shop and kill some time!!!

For lunch we went to Bueokgan, a place where every single dish is good — nothing you'd ever get tired of, and no dish anyone dislikes. Let me start with the location!!!

Bueokgan Restaurant, Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets is open daily from 10:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. Bueokgan Restaurant, Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets is a great fit for families. It has a spacious dining room, comfortable sofa seating, high chairs and other kid-friendly amenities, plus a wide menu of pasta, pizza, steak and more made with fresh ingredients.

The abalone cream risotto and truffle mushroom gnocchi are especially popular menu items!!!! Being set apart from the other restaurants, it has an upscale feel.

Bueokgan looks pretty, spacious and clean right from the entrance. As soon as you walk in there's a lovely waiting area, a roomy interior, and a good variety of tables.

It was a bit past lunch hour so there were a moderate number of guests. The interior at Bueokgan is so nice it got me even more excited before we'd even eaten!!! We waited a little while and then got seated. Each table had a tablet, so we picked our menu right away.

What we ordered on the tablet with a child

Since I was there with my daughter, we ordered carbonara for the pasta, margherita for the pizza, and pastry soup. Plus orange juice and cider! There's a wide variety of other menu items too — swipe right to see them in detail.

The drinks came out first, and they set out a separate plate, cutlery and water cup for my daughter.

How the margherita pizza dough and carbonara tasted

The margherita was exactly the flavor I like — Bueokgan's pizza dough itself is just so good :) The carbonara was, as expected, really savory, and thankfully it was exactly the taste my daughter loves.

My daughter ate well, which put me in an even better mood. I thought she wouldn't touch the margherita either, but she ate it well too!! Bueokgan really is that good. They have so many different types of dishes, it's a place I want to try everything at. I also had the soup crumbled up — it was savory and tasty, but honestly I still like the sweet pumpkin soup better!!!!

Tips for visiting Bueokgan with a child

We ate well and paid up!! The Wi-Fi password was displayed clearly too. High chairs, cutlery, napkins and bibs were placed around the restaurant, so it was easy to use with a child.

After a great meal, off to go shopping. There's a Myeongrang Hotdog there too, so we had that and had a blast.
