Family meal at Siheung Premium Outlets: bone kalguksu and suyuk set
In short
Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu is a Korean restaurant in Suite 1116 of Siheung Premium Outlets in Siheung, Gyeonggi. The family stopped mid-shopping and ordered the bone kalguksu (knife-cut noodles in pork-bone broth) with a tender gabrisal (pork shoulder blade) suyuk (boiled pork) set, plus bone soup rice, so noodles, rice and meat could be shared around one table. The mild, non-spicy meat broth made Pyeongi Dambaek an easy choice for a family meal with kids.

I went shopping at Siheung Premium Outlets and got hungry, so I came back with a good lunch story to tell. Shopping at an outlet mall is fun, but let's be honest — eating something good in between is half the fun too. That day I was debating what to eat and ended up at Pyeongi Dambaek, a place with warm broth and a filling meal.
Pyeongi Dambaek is inside Siheung Premium Outlets, so it was easy to stop for a meal mid-shopping. Looking at the menu, I saw all my favorites — bone kalguksu (bone-broth knife-cut noodles), bone soup rice, and suyuk (boiled pork).

The menu

That day we ordered bone kalguksu + tender gabrisal (pork shoulder blade) suyuk set, and bone soup rice. With a noodle dish, a rice dish, and suyuk all together, it made for a pretty filling meal.
Why Pyeongi Dambaek works for a meal inside Siheung Premium Outlets
Pyeongi Dambaek sits right along the shopping route through Siheung Premium Outlets, which makes it convenient to stop for a meal. Time flies faster than you'd think while shopping there. Once you get hungry from browsing, you start looking for somewhere inside the outlet to eat right away — and Pyeongi Dambaek was exactly that kind of place.
What I liked most was that the menu isn't about strong, spicy flavors — it's built around warm broth, meat, and noodles enjoyed together.

Visiting as a family like we did, it's easy for everyone to order something different and share. That day we each ordered bone kalguksu and bone soup rice separately — both use the same bone meat, but noodles versus rice give a totally different feel, which made sharing more fun. And adding suyuk on top made the whole spread feel quite substantial.
The bone kalguksu and tender gabrisal suyuk set
First up was Pyeongi Dambaek's bone kalguksu with the tender gabrisal suyuk set. The name itself promises tenderness, so I was curious about the texture — and it really lived up to the name, with an impressively soft bite.

Who should order the bone soup rice?
Pyeongi Dambaek's bone soup rice is a good choice when you want a filling rice meal instead of noodles. Served in a warm ttukbaegi (earthenware pot) with rice, it looked hearty at first glance.
The bone soup rice also comes with bone meat, so you get meat and rice together. Picking meat off the bone, eating it with rice, then sipping the broth made for a really satisfying meal. I especially love mixing rice into broth, so the bone soup rice was extra welcome.
A spoonful of rice in warm broth, paired with soft meat — it filled me up nicely, with a different appeal from the kalguksu. If bone kalguksu suits noodle lovers, bone soup rice suits people who prefer rice or brothy meals.

Trying both dishes together that day, each had its clear strength. Bone kalguksu was fun for the chewy noodles paired with bone meat, while bone soup rice felt much heartier with rice, broth, and meat combined. If you asked me to pick just one, I'd really struggle.
- If you like noodles, go for bone kalguksu!
- If you like rice and mixing it into broth, go for bone soup rice!
And if you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend ordering different dishes to share, like we did. It was more fun going back and forth between bone kalguksu and bone soup rice than sticking to just one dish.
Siheung Premium Outlets has so much to shop for and browse that once you visit, you tend to stay a while. We too were leisurely browsing that day until it was time to eat, and had our meal at Pyeongi Dambaek. If you're looking for something filling but not too heavy in the middle of shopping, this felt like a solid choice.
Especially for families out with kids, when choosing a meal you tend to look for something mild — rice, noodles, or broth — rather than spicy or strongly seasoned food. In that sense, bone kalguksu and bone soup rice were great picks for a family meal. We even ordered the suyuk to share little by little, and having several dishes laid out together made the table feel much more abundant.

The three dishes we ordered at Pyeongi Dambaek
- Bone kalguksu → Chewy kalguksu noodles paired with chunky bone meat for a filling dish.
- Tender gabrisal suyuk → Soft, tender suyuk texture. Went great alongside the kalguksu.
- Bone soup rice → Warm broth, rice, and bone meat together made for a satisfying, hearty meal.
Eating all three together, the combination worked really well. We got to enjoy noodles, rice, and meat all around, which made it a great order for a family visit. Above all, unlike a typical kalguksu, the bone kalguksu came with big chunks of bone meat that made eating it more fun. A bite of noodles with a piece of meat, and every so often some gabrisal suyuk too — it turned into a pretty hearty meal.

First I took a look at the bone kalguksu itself. The big chunks of bone meat made it look filling just from the sight of it.

The noodles were generously packed into the broth, and eating the meat and noodles together looked like it would make for a really hearty meal. The broth had a deep flavor that seemed to come from the meat, and it wasn't heavy or greasy — easy to slurp down warm. For kalguksu especially, the pairing of broth and noodles really matters.

Dipping the noodles into the broth, they'd soaked it in well — clean-tasting but savory. Slurping down the chewy noodles and following with a bite of meat noticeably raised my satisfaction with the meal.
Bone kalguksu with big chunks of bone meat
The biggest feature of bone kalguksu is, of course, the meat! Meat in kalguksu can sometimes be too tough or awkward to eat off the bone, but the bone meat here was fun to pick apart. I gently picked the meat off with chopsticks and ate it with the noodles — the tender meat and chewy noodles together made for an enjoyable texture.

A spoonful of broth, a bite of meat, a bite of noodles, taking turns — before I knew it, the bowl was emptying fast. If you love meat, the bone kalguksu will especially suit you. Compared to regular kalguksu, having meat in it definitely makes it feel more filling, and with the broth too, it warms you up from the inside. It felt like the kind of dish that could keep you going through the afternoon after a hungry shopping break.
How tender is the gabrisal suyuk?
Personally, I was glad we ordered the tender gabrisal suyuk on the side. Suyuk is great on its own, but eating it with kalguksu is a different combination altogether. The gabrisal suyuk lived up to its name with a soft texture.

Picking up a piece, it wasn't tough at all — soft and easy to chew. There was a clean meat flavor too, and since it's suyuk, it wasn't greasy, so it paired well with the kalguksu. Adding a piece of suyuk while eating the warm bone kalguksu brought out even more meaty flavor.
Suyuk itself isn't seasoned with strong sauces — it's about the natural taste of the meat, which paired well with the brothy dish. A bite of meat, a spoonful of kalguksu broth, then a slurp of noodles again — following that rhythm, the suyuk disappeared quickly.

If you love suyuk, I'd recommend getting the set like I did instead of just the bone kalguksu alone. It also works well as a side dish to share if you're visiting with a group.
Worth a stop while shopping at Siheung Premium Outlets
If you want to shop and eat well at Siheung Premium Outlets, it's worth stopping by Pyeongi Dambaek. On days you're craving warm broth, bone kalguksu or bone soup rice will hit the spot. And if you love meat like I do, the bone kalguksu + tender gabrisal suyuk set combo is worth recommending too. Adding suyuk alongside the kalguksu made the meal much more filling than kalguksu alone.
I also liked that this isn't just a quick bite to get through hunger while shopping — it's a proper, hearty meal you can eat before heading back out to shop.
If you're planning a trip to Siheung Premium Outlets, I'd recommend adding a good restaurant to your shopping list! That day we filled up on bone kalguksu, tender gabrisal suyuk, and bone soup rice at Pyeongi Dambaek before heading back out to browse the outlets. Next time I visit Siheung Premium Outlets, I want to try other menu items too. The bone kalguksu we enjoyed that day is definitely a dish I'll be thinking about again.
Shopping, good food, and relaxed time with family — a great day all around! If you're looking for a good restaurant at Siheung Premium Outlets, how about a warm bowl of bone kalguksu at Pyeongi Dambaek?
