In short
Wine Stein Seochon is a brunch café by day and wine bar by night on the third floor of a building on Pilun-daero, near Gyeongbokgung Station in Seochon, Seoul. On a weekend date visit, Wine Stein Seochon's Lunch Club Course A (croissant sandwich with salad and pasta) and Course C (salad and pasta with mushroom soup) each cost 16,500 won including a drink, and the new pizza sulgi (steamed rice cake) rounded out the meal. Wine Stein Seochon: a third-floor brunch café in Seochon
I decided on Seochon for today's weekend date. Wine Stein Seochon! It's on the 3rd floor, giving it a bit of a hidden-gem feel. When you open the door, a whole new kind of space unfolds.

Once you step inside, this wide, clean space opens up. The tables are spaced generously and the floor-to-ceiling windows mean there's zero sense of crowding. I loved being able to take in the whole mood of Seochon through the windows. So glad I came here for a weekend date~
What the Lunch Club course includes and what it costs
We ordered the Lunch Club

You can choose one of Courses A, B, or C. We ordered A — croissant sandwich + salad & pasta — and C — salad & pasta + mushroom soup. You also get to pick a drink, so we went with an iced Americano and a Coke! For 16,500 won, that's really solid value.

In the evening it runs as a wine bar, so there are tons of wine bottles on display! It's fun just to browse — I'd highly recommend it as a Seochon brunch date spot~ Since it also operates as a Seochon café-wine bar at night, I really wanted to come back in the evening too.
Browsing the cute little props too
While waiting for brunch, we browsed some cute decor pieces too. My eyes were practically spinning haha
What is the third-floor window view like?
A must-visit for the 3rd-floor view

Being up on that floor, the view is amazing. The weather was so nice that day, just staring out the window felt like pure healing. This is the summer vibe — I imagine fall, winter, and spring each feel completely different. The view probably changes with every season!

Our drinks came out first. I'd heard a lot about how good the coffee is at Wine Stein Seochon, and it really was! Besides brunch, quite a few people were there just for coffee. The owner was super friendly too, which put me in an even better mood. It felt like a place with a lot of regulars!

Since the weather was so nice, we sat at a table facing the window. A little sliver of sky peeking through! Such a great feeling, right? So happy~ On a peaceful weekend, moments like this — I think that's exactly what happiness is. It had been a while, which made the day even better!
Lunch Club Course A: taste and portion size
Brunch has arrived!

Lunch Club Course A~ The composition was so good! Fresh vegetables, the sandwich, and the pasta — the portion was just right and it tasted great too! It felt like it really suited the Seochon neighborhood. Full marks for the menu lineup.

The plating was so pretty it really amped up the Seochon-date feeling.
Lunch Club Course C: worth it if you like soup
Lunch Club Course C

If you love soup, I'd recommend C! Even the side salad was really high quality.

The pasta had a lot of meat in it, so the flavor was really rich. The portion was bigger than I expected too.

A perfect menu combination for a weekend brunch date.

It had been such a long time since a Seochon date, and to find a spot like this! The atmosphere at Wine Stein Seochon was so good we ended up talking a lot haha. I'd love to come back in the evening as a Seochon café-wine bar too :)
The new pizza sulgi (steamed rice cake)
Pizza sulgi, the trendy new thing

They just added the currently-trending pizza sulgi (steamed rice cake) to the menu, apparently.

I got to try it for the first time on this visit, and I get why it's popular! It's pizza, but with a lighter, more subtle flavor~

Group seating and the decor at Wine Stein Seochon
There's also group seating like this, so it'd be great to visit with friends too. Even on the weekend I went, there were enough foreign visitors that people clearly seek this place out. Such a comfortable space — a really lovely Seochon date.

On the way out, I browsed the cute little props too (there was a lot I wanted to buy, but I held back well!).

I'm definitely planning to come back in the evening as a Seochon café-wine bar. Recommended for anyone who loves wine.
