This time I visited Dotorigol Café, surrounded by gently flowing water and lush nature. Thanks to the beautiful lake view, the spacious garden, and the perfect atmosphere for bringing along my beloved dog, I got to enjoy a proper weekend rest.

The Danwol-myeon area where Dotorigol Café sits turned out to be a travel hotspot with lots of nice-vibe pensions and campsites nearby. It's in the perfect spot to stop by before or after checking into a pension or setting up camp, to enjoy a cool signature drink and a savory bakery dessert.

What is the lake view at Dotorigol like?

A calm lake view where clear water and green trees come together. Drinking a cup of coffee while listening to the gentle ripples following the breeze and the sound of the wind, I felt all my built-up stress melt away.

There are ducks, there are boats — a space in nature with its own charm, one that would be lovely to visit any time.

The moment I stepped inside, what struck me first was the cool waterside view spreading out beyond the wide floor-to-ceiling windows.

Old-style patbingsu, 15,900 won: bear-shaped ice cream and rice cakes

The old-style patbingsu (₩15,900) caught my eye with its sheer cuteness. The very first thing that grabbed my attention was this patbingsu, which steals the show visually before anything else.

Heart-stealing moment! There was an adorable bear-shaped ice cream carefully placed on top of the shaved ice — it was such a photogenic sight I couldn't not take a picture!

It was loaded generously with chewy rice cakes and cheese, so it looked appetizing just to see. One thing that fell a bit short, though — the base wasn't the rich milk ice, but plain water ice. Since I was expecting a rich, smooth flavor, the ice particles felt a little bland, so the taste was slightly disappointing, but thanks to the generous rice cakes and ice cream, I still enjoyed it happily.

Jeju matcha cream latte: pleasantly bitter and smooth

The distinctive bittersweet, nutty aroma of matcha really comes through, and the cream is very smooth and sweet, so matcha lovers should have no complaints. The strawberry latte was sweet too.

Signature classic sandwich, 9,900 won: packed with vegetables

A vegetable bomb! The signature classic sandwich (₩9,900). You could tell instantly why it's the signature menu — it was bursting with fresh vegetables! It was so packed inside that it was hard to take a big bite, giving it a crunchy texture, and the ingredients weren't skimped on at all, so by the time I finished, I felt very full and satisfied.

Dotorigol Café has it all: a picture-like lake view, refreshing natural scenery, a relaxed outdoor terrace, and a space to enjoy with your beloved dog! It was a wonderful healing spot found along a drive through Yangpyeong. If you'd like to unwind this weekend listening to cool water sounds with someone special and your dog, I definitely recommend paying a visit!
