Seoul Station bakery takeout: choco baguette with figs, Dance Dance

In short

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a baguette sandwich shop on basement level 3 of Grand Central at Seoul Station. On a weekday lunch visit, the new pistachio chocolate baguette (14,400 won) and a plain scone (3,900 won) went out as takeout, and figs brought from home were laid on top at home. The mild baguette studded with chocolate chips and the thick pistachio tofu cream cheese make the combination worth ordering.

Takeout sandwich from Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station
Chocolate baguette sandwiched with pistachio cream

One of my favorite sandwich shops in Hannam, Seoul is Dance Dance Dance — so when I had errands near Seoul Station, I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station instead. I love sandwiches in general and have tried a bunch of their menu items before, all ridiculously good, so I thought, today's the day! and ran straight to the Seoul Station branch haha.

Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station? Grand Central basement level 3

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station takes up a big, roomy spot on basement level 3 of Grand Central at Seoul Station, so the location is honestly great. It's super convenient to reach from Seoul Station, and since it opens early, it's a good stop for a quick breakfast before work or before starting your day at the station haha. It'd also make a great date course — catch an exhibit at Ground Seesaw, then swing by for coffee or a meal at this Seoul Station sandwich spot! I visited on a weekday during lunch, and sure enough, there were SO many office workers from around Seoul Station.

Walking into the store, baguettes and ciabattas were lined up neatly on trays, every single one looking so good it was hard to just walk past. There's a good variety of bread, which made picking a sandwich half the fun haha.

There's a wide range of sandwiches on the menu too — I've tried so many of Dance Dance Dance's baguette sandwiches at the Hannam branch that I genuinely love them ♥ You're not stuck with baguette either — you can swap to ciabatta if you prefer a different texture, and ordering as a set with a drink gets you a discount. They also sell soup!

And here's what makes this Seoul Station sandwich shop special — the menu items built around tofu cream cheese! Beyond sandwiches, there are dessert-style options too, great to order alongside your meal when you're craving something sweet. For the record, I've tried the plain, chocolate, and pistachio tofu cream cheese, and none of them taste like tofu at all — nutty, creamy, and seriously seriously delicious. Better than most regular cream cheese, honestly ㅜㅜ♥

Scones on display for dessert

There are also scones for dessert, and if you get them boxed in a set of 4, they come in a cute little box — great for gifting or for packing a few to take home!

Dance Dance Dance is also pretty serious about coffee — beyond regular coffee, they have options like decaf, cold brew, and sugar-free oat milk, so you can pick based on your mood or how you're feeling that day.

What I ordered for takeout: pistachio chocolate baguette 14,400 won, plain scone 3,900 won

What I got to go this time was the new pistachio chocolate baguette for ₩14,400, plus a plain scone for ₩3,900 to have as dessert! The takeout packaging was really nicely designed too, which makes it a great pick for picnic food from this Seoul Station sandwich shop haha.

The pistachio chocolate baguette is exactly what it sounds like — a chocolate baguette sandwiched with pistachio cream. Just look at this gorgeous visual,,,, I'm getting dizzy,,,,,

The baguette itself is plain and has a chewy bite, with chocolate chips inside giving it a subtly sweet flavor! And the thick pistachio tofu cream cheese, made with 100% pistachio paste apparently, is absolutely insane... packed with that nutty, real-pistachio flavor, so, so good ㅠ

By the way, this Seoul Station sandwich shop also has a new fall menu item — a cream cheese baguette with figs. Unfortunately there's no chocolate baguette + fig combo though...? So since I'm obsessed with figs, I brought my own *^^* And honestly, topped like this, it's INSANELY good. Could you please, please release a fig pistachio chocolate baguette, owner....? Too good to eat alone ㅜㅜ Anyway, I enjoyed it so, so much.

How was the plain scone for dessert?

Then dessert — the scone, nom nom ♥ I'd had their scones before so I knew what to expect haha. Crisp outside, moist inside, a plain style that's easy to enjoy without feeling heavy! You get the nutty richness of butter along with the subtle sweetness of unrefined sugar, so it's not too sweet — just a solid, classic scone. Goes great with coffee or tea, making it a low-key dessert or breakfast option.

With a wide range of hearty sandwiches good for brunch or a meal replacement, plus desserts like the tofu cream cheese baguette, Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a solid Seoul Station sandwich shop ♥ The new pistachio chocolate baguette especially — plain chocolate baguette studded with chocolate chips plus that thick pistachio tofu cream cheese — was so, so good. If you're looking for a breakfast spot, a sandwich shop, or a quick dessert place near Seoul Station, I highly recommend Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station!!
