Minrak-dong coffee shop with a workshop-like inner room: Café Buajang
In short
Café Buajang is a plant-filled coffee shop in an alley in Minrak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan. On a weekend afternoon visit with her husband, the writer ordered an iced Americano for 4,500 won, a maple cream latte for 6,000 won and chestnut tiramisu for 7,500 won, sitting first near the front entrance and then in the workshop-like room further inside. Café Buajang is spacious and full of greenery, making it an easy place to spend a slow afternoon near Gwangalli.

The exterior and entrance are so green and nature-friendly, I love it ㅠㅠ Who knew a café like this existed near Gwangalli...? The trumpet vine above the sign is basically a painting... the photo smells like summer...❤️

Inside Café Buajang: a coffee shop full of plants
What even is this interior... plant lovers, how do you cope with this... I love it so much❤️💚

The space is spacious, with everything from big tables to small ones creating different moods, and plants scattered throughout put your mind at ease.

Kind of feels like being a dreamy, laid-back owner of a countryside café... you know that vibe, right?

How do they take care of the plants this well.... so jealous...
No matter how you shoot it, every seat has serious atmosphere ㅠㅠ

This kind of cute detail feels perfect for a date💛 With all the green outside the window too... it's perfect ㅜㅜ

The workshop-like room further inside Café Buajang
Café Buajang is actually bigger than it looks from the outside, and once you go in further, this kind of space continues! It has a calm, workshop-like feel!?👍🏻

The vibe here is insane

It feels cozy, like my own secret hideout...

It's a totally different vibe from what you see right when you open the front door, and I loved that too. After thoroughly exploring the café interior, we finally headed to the counter to order! haha

What we ordered at Café Buajang and what it cost
Iced Americano ₩4,500 / maple cream latte ₩6,000 / chestnut tiramisu ₩7,500. That's what we ordered! There were so many unique desserts that it was fun just browsing. I went with the chestnut tiramisu on the owner's recommendation👍🏻👍🏻

Pretty and delicious-looking just from a photo💛❤️💚

What does Café Buajang's signature maple cream latte taste like?
Café Buajang's signature drink, the maple cream latte, combines maple syrup with milk and espresso, plus pink salt, giving this cream latte a sweet-and-salty charm! Drinks like this usually come in a tiny glass, but at Café Buajang it comes in a regular-sized glass👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Compared to a typical vanilla latte, there's less milk so the coffee is stronger, and the cream is thick enough to fill your mouth nicely. Instead of drinking the cream separately, I stirred it all together from the start and drank it through the straw — the coffee and maple flavors blended really well, it was genuinely delicious!

Iced Americano for 4,500 won
A nutty bean base without too heavy a body, the kind of Americano anyone would like! Just looking at the crema gives off summer refreshment vibes ⭐️ In a way, the fact that even the café's basic Americano is this good made me love Café Buajang even more...!💛

Chestnut tiramisu, the owner's recommendation
For dessert, the owner recommended the chestnut tiramisu! It looks super cute and delicious, and it's not too small either, so I was very satisfied🌰

A green backdrop with delicious coffee and dessert... the vibe of a relaxed weekend afternoon... so happy❤️

I suddenly wanted to try sitting somewhere else, so we moved seats and took another shot haha

The cream and the soft, soaked bread inside went together really well. It tastes like something adults would love! (Now that I'm an adult myself... does that make it taste even better..😂) Eating this made me want to try their regular tiramisu too...! I feel like every type of tiramisu here would pair perfectly with the Americano👍🏻👍🏻
