Where is Working Holiday Minrak, and how does parking work?

It's on the 7th floor of the building with the Starbucks in Minrak Subyeon Park! This is a place I keep coming back to whenever I'm in Gwangalli — being able to enjoy brunch with a view of Gwangan Bridge means once you've been once, you find yourself thinking about it again.

They also support parking. On weekdays you get 1 hour free with orders over ₩10,000, and on weekends 1 hour free with orders over ₩20,000, so keep that in mind.

Inside Working Holiday Minrak: a gallery-like café space

The moment you walk in, you get this sleek, gallery-like feeling. It's decorated mostly in wood tones, which gives it a comfortable feel, and the soft lighting, plants dotted around, and tasteful little objects all blend together nicely! There's also an exotic touch that made me feel like I'd landed at a resort.

Working Holiday Minrak in Gwangalli also has a terrace space. You can spend time there with your food, so on a nice-weather day it'd be great to enjoy things outdoors. The day I visited it was still pretty hot, so most people just took quick photos there and had their meal in the cool indoor seating instead!

Step out onto the terrace and the view of Gwangan Bridge from the 7th floor is really beautiful. Last time I visited during the day, and this time I came back in the evening — and it was lovely watching the sky turn sunset colors as the sun went down, all the way through to the bridge lighting up!

Ordering at the Working Holiday Minrak kiosk

You can order comfortably through the kiosk set up by the entrance before you even walk into the main space! There's a wide range of options from meals to desserts, so there's plenty to choose from. It's a great spot to visit for brunch, or to swing by for dessert and drinks after a meal.

French toast and Bolognese pasta at Working Holiday Minrak

We ordered French toast and Bolognese pasta! The French toast looked delicious just from the visuals — warm, moist toast topped with sweet ice cream, and eating them together was really good. The soft, sweet taste of the toast paired with the cool, smooth ice cream, so I kept going back for more like it was dessert. The portion was bigger than I expected, too.

The Bolognese pasta was also more delicious than expected. The sauce coated the noodles really well, and overall it was tasty without being too heavy, which made me glad we'd ordered it alongside the French toast. Going back and forth between the sweet French toast and the savory, rich Bolognese pasta made for a great combination.

Is Working Holiday Minrak worth an evening visit?

Overall, this place was truly perfect — from the interior to the Gwangan Bridge view! The space itself had such a great atmosphere, and with the bridge visible through the window, just sitting there put me in a good mood. Both the French toast and Bolognese pasta were delicious, so it was satisfying in terms of both atmosphere and food.

I'd visited once before during the day, and it felt like a completely different mood from the daytime Gwangalli I knew — I liked that. Watching the bridge lit up after sunset especially felt way more atmospheric and romantic! Next time I want to visit on a day with the Gwangalli drone show or fireworks festival and enjoy the view then. If you're looking for a Gwangalli brunch café, I'd recommend Working Holiday Minrak.
