While traveling to Yeosu, Jeollanam-do with my family, we stopped by the avocado specialty café 'Avocado Yeosu.'

Where is Avocado Yeosu, and where do you park?

Avocado Yeosu is within walking distance of Yi Sun-sin Square in Yeosu. There's no dedicated parking lot, but the Yi Sun-sin Square and Jinnamgwan public parking lots are close by, so it was easy to park and drop in while sightseeing.

We came to Yeosu and visited Yi Sun-sin Square, then stopped in briefly to cool off from the heat. There's no separate parking lot, but the nearby Yi Sun-sin Square and Jinnamgwan public parking lots made it easy to park and swing by while sightseeing.

This is an avocado specialty spot that uses fresh avocado, not frozen, as the base for coffee, smoothies, and ice cream, giving it an authentic Vietnamese feel — which made me even more excited. They also sell an avocado banh mi (Vietnamese rice baguette), loaded with bulgogi beef, vegetables, and plenty of avocado, apparently substantial enough to serve as a full meal.

Avocado tastes great, but I think it's even better because of its soft texture and high content of unsaturated fats and dietary fiber, which is helpful for managing your diet.

Avocado Yeosu lets you order directly at the kiosk, which was convenient. This is a place where you can enjoy avocado coffee, avocado smoothie, coconut condensed milk latte, avocado ice cream, banh mi, and americano.

They use premium Vietnamese beans so the coffee tastes great, and takeout is available, so you could take it to Yi Sun-sin Square and enjoy the view while sipping it.

Right next to the kiosk there's a cute avocado plush and a receipt photo booth, which was great for leaving a little memory of the Yeosu trip.

There's also a receipt review event with no cap on the number of reviews — you get a gift for each review you write, so it's worth trying.

Inside Avocado Yeosu: 12 seats and a Vietnam-style interior

The store isn't very big, but it has 12 seats and a restroom inside, which made it convenient to use. The interior has a Vietnam-style feel, which added to the travel mood.

Ice cream spoons, cup holders, and straws were all neatly arranged so you could grab them easily while using the café.

Avocado ice cream: is it good for sharing with a child?

A premium ice cream that carefully captures the deep, smooth flavor of avocado.

It was hot the day we visited, so we ordered ice cream to share with our child — it looked delicious from the visuals alone, and the portion was generous too.

The combination of sweet ice cream, soft avocado, and crunchy, nutty coconut was so good that we ate every bite.

Avocado coffee and Bac Xiu condensed milk latte: how they taste

The avocado coffee is a smoothie-style coffee that blends rich coffee with creamy avocado — once I stirred it well, it paired better with the coffee than I expected, and I enjoyed it a lot. The coconut condensed milk latte is a Vietnamese-style condensed milk latte where the sweetness of the coconut and rich coffee come together nicely, giving off an authentic Vietnamese vibe that I really enjoyed.
