In short
Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch is a Korean restaurant specializing in chicken kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), on the first floor of a building on Haedoji-ro in Yeonsu, Incheon. On a repeat visit, chicken kalguksu (11,000 won), chicken gomtang (11,000 won), and chewy mandu (6,000 won) were ordered on the table tablet, and the milky perilla-based broth, house-made noodles, and half a chicken's worth of meat stood out. When the weather's this in-between, the first thing I crave is a hot bowl of soup. So this time I went back to a place that kept popping up on Songdo lunch spot lists — Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch. And yes, this was a repeat visit!!

It's a place that puts everything into chicken kalguksu, so I went in half excited, half worried. Bottom line: if you love a good broth, chances are you'll be satisfied.
Where is Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch, and what are the hours?
Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch is at 160-15 Haedoji-ro, 1F 129-132, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and it's open 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:30). It's right along the Haedoji-ro strip in Songdo's first district, so it's pretty accessible. There's a tile-roof sign on the corner of the first floor, so it's hard to miss even walking by.

For parking, you can use the building's parking lot, and after your meal just ask a staff member to register it. If you're driving, it helps to know this in advance so you're not fumbling around when you pay.

Inside the restaurant: a wide hall with full-height windows
The inside of Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch was much bigger than I expected. Four-person tables are spaced out comfortably, and the floor-to-ceiling windows keep it so bright during the day you barely need the lights on. It's a low-pressure layout for family groups or a company lunch crowd.
Menu and prices, and how tablet ordering works
- Chicken kalguksu (BEST) ₩11,000
- Chicken gomtang ₩11,000
- Eonyang-style kalguksu ₩8,000
- Chewy mandu ₩6,000
- Spicy braised chicken jjimdak (medium/spicy) ₩30,000
- Soy braised chicken jjimdak ₩29,000
- Boiled pork suyuk (small, 220g) ₩15,000

Ordering is done through a tablet at the table, so it's easy without having to flag down staff. Just looking at the price list, it's actually pretty reasonable by Songdo lunch standards. Both the chicken kalguksu and chicken gomtang sit around ₩11,000, and each one comes with half a chicken's worth of meat.
How did the chicken kalguksu, chicken gomtang, and mandu taste?

Chicken kalguksu, 11,000 won
It comes in a wide stainless bowl and the portion is genuinely generous. The broth is a perilla-based chicken stock, so the color is milky white, and the first spoonful hits with a nutty punch. It felt like they use the same stock as the gomtang — rich, but not greasy.

The noodles are apparently hand-made in-house, and they're clearly different from factory noodles. They're thick and chewy, holding their shape all the way through instead of going soft.

Half a chicken goes in whole, and the meat pulled apart easily and softly with no gamey smell.

Chicken gomtang, 11,000 won
The gomtang has a clearer broth than the kalguksu and comes loaded with green onion. The rice is served separately for mixing in, and honestly, this one was more my style.

I'd recommend this one if you're after a hangover cure or just want something easy on the stomach.

Chewy mandu, 6,000 won
These mandu (dumplings) live up to their name. The wrapper is thick and chewy with a nice bite, and the filling is packed. Dipping them in the soy sauce that comes alongside is exactly right.

That said, they're steamed rather than fried or pan-seared, so if you're after a crispy texture, this could be a hit or miss for you.
Tips to know before visiting Eonyang Dak Kalguksu in Songdo
✅ Don't forget to register your parking — after parking in the building lot, ask the staff to register it. It's easier to mention it before you finish eating and head out.

- Kimchi from the self-serve bar — there are two kinds, spicy and less spicy, so people who can't handle spice have nothing to worry about. Pickled radish is there too.
- Kid-friendly — kids' spoons and forks are provided. Since it's soup-based, kids can eat comfortably too.
- Free Wi-Fi — there's Wi-Fi in the store, handy for waiting or lingering a bit after eating.
- Value combo — if there are two of you, the chicken kalguksu + chicken gomtang + chewy mandu combo works well. You get to compare two different broth styles side by side.
Verdict: is it worth a company lunch in Songdo?

It's a place that wins on the fundamentals — rich stock, properly made noodles, and generous portions. If you're looking for a spot for a family meal or a company lunch in the Songdo District 1 Korean food category, it's worth a visit.
Menu prices and operating details may change, so it's worth checking the latest information before you visit.
