I went in thinking it was just a good-vibes cocktail bar, but the concept turned out to be way more unique than I expected — the cocktails are inspired by famous paintings. I already love cocktails, but getting to drink a reinterpretation of an actual artwork felt genuinely novel.

You look at the painting a cocktail was based on, then check what's mixed inside it — it was fun to appreciate some art while reading the menu after a long time. I kept thinking, 'how did they turn this painting into a cocktail?' That made the whole process of ordering and drinking feel a bit more entertaining.

I ordered buttered baby potatoes and jamón (₩21,000), Madame X (₩23,000), and The Scream (₩25,000).

They first bring out water and a simple snack — the crackers weren't too strong-flavored, plain and mild, which I liked. That little lamp adds to the mood too.

The Scream cocktail, ₩25,000: the flaming orange peel

The Scream is a ₩25,000 cocktail — after pouring it into the glass, staff torched an orange peel right at the table to infuse the aroma. And that wasn't even the end of it.

The moment the peel caught fire, orange scent burst out, and that scent actually lingered in the cocktail itself. When I drank it, I could pick up a subtle citrus-orange note, which was fascinating. Even though it's a strong drink, the orange aroma kept it from just tasting like straight hard liquor.

Madame X, ₩23,000: the cocktail sprayed with edible perfume

Madame X is ₩23,000 — a pre-mixed wine cocktail poured into the glass, finished off with a spray of edible perfume. Just the fact that edible perfume exists was surprising, let alone having it sprayed onto a cocktail.

The rose scent was way stronger than I expected, and the taste that followed was sweet and fragrant. If you like sweet, floral cocktails, this one will probably suit your taste perfectly.

Buttered baby potatoes and jamón, ₩21,000: Rosetta's side dish

The buttered baby potatoes and jamón (Spanish cured ham) I ordered as a side dish at Rosetta cost ₩21,000. The potatoes are pan-fried in butter — crispy outside, fluffy inside.

The nutty butter flavor soaked well into the potatoes, so they were tasty even on their own, but eating them with the jamón added its distinct salty kick and balanced the flavors nicely. Perfect as a cocktail side.
