Suwon mall café with fig season desserts: Jeong Jiyeong Coffee

Went to Starfield Suwon to do some shopping and figured I'd grab good coffee while I was at it! Found the perfect spot — Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters Starfield Suwon Branch :)

Being inside Starfield Suwon meant it was a great place to take a break while shopping or wandering around, and especially if you like coffee, it's worth stopping by at least once haha

Where to find Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters in Starfield Suwon

Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters Starfield Suwon Branch is located near the Gourmet Street entrance on the 2nd floor of Starfield Suwon!

Since it's inside Starfield, it's easy to find and a convenient spot to swing by whenever you're craving coffee mid-shopping haha

Starfield Suwon itself is huge, so there's a lot to see and plenty of places to eat, but this café was easy to spot while looking around :) The exterior and interior had a clean, stylish vibe, so grabbing a quick takeout felt totally effortless~!

Parking is handled through the Starfield Suwon parking lot, so it's convenient to visit by car too!! Being able to handle shopping, meals, and coffee all in one place seems like the biggest advantage of the Starfield Suwon branch 👍🏻

Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters is known for its coffee flavor!! It's said to be characterized by dark-roast beans that aren't very acidic but have a nutty, intense aroma~!

The coffee menu ranges from iced americano to lattes, and if you enjoy your coffee strong and nutty, it seems like it would really suit your taste haha

This time, since I planned to drink it while shopping, I ordered an iced caffè latte and a coconut latte as takeout~!

Iced caffè latte

First, the iced caffè latte nailed the basics as expected!! The milk's smooth taste blended well with the coffee's rich, nutty flavor, and there was almost no acidity, so it was easy to drink without any hesitation haha

It was strong but not heavy or chalky, with a nutty flavor — personally, I really enjoyed it :)

And the drink I was most looking forward to was the coconut latte! It's apparently an extremely famous signature drink at Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters~!

The coffee's deep flavor combined with coconut's distinctively sweet, nutty taste gave it a charm quite different from a regular latte haha

If you like sweet coffee, this is a menu item I'd especially recommend!

It wasn't just sweet for the sake of being sweet — you could taste both the coffee's richness and the coconut flavor together, which made me understand why it's called the signature menu~

Fig season desserts and MD merchandise on display

Maybe because it's fig season these days, the store was also selling a variety of desserts made with figs!

If you want to enjoy dessert alongside your coffee, picking a seasonal item seems like a good idea haha

And besides coffee, one side of the store had various MD merchandise on display, which was fun to browse haha If you like coffee, it might be nice to take your time looking through the MD goods after finishing your drink!!

Is it a good takeout coffee stop while shopping?

Above all, I liked that it was easy to carry around as takeout while shopping at Starfield Suwon!!

Wandering around Starfield with an iced latte in hand made for a nice mood lift in the middle of shopping~!

Overall, Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters Starfield Suwon Branch was a café I'd recommend to anyone who likes nutty, strong coffee!
