Fig Greek yogurt bowl at Grid in Greek, a Suwon café
In short
Grid in Greek is a café in Buksu-dong, Suwon, serving Greek yogurt and sandwiches. On a skipped-breakfast day, I ordered the Fig Greek M and an iced Americano, and the generous portion and thick, tangy yogurt became more impressive with every bite. Verdict: a lovely light solo brunch stop after exploring Haenggung-dong.

I had an errand at a bank in Yeonghwa-dong, which got me out of the house today. Since I had skipped breakfast, I looked for a good café around Haengnidan-gil for lunch and ended up visiting this spot known for its Greek yogurt bowls.

A Buksu-dong café to stop by after exploring Haenggung-dong
Haenggung-dong has so many trendy cafés, and this is another Buksu-dong café with stylish interiors and a hip, cool feel :) A tempting sandwich sign welcomes you out front~
It is a place for a simple, delicious meal after a picnic at Banghwasuryujeong in Haenggung-dong or a day out around the neighborhood. There are lots of public parking lots nearby, so that should be convenient if you drive :)াহ

Since Haenggung-dong gets packed with crowds on weekends, you could see traces of all the people who had visited inside. It is fun to browse the many notes and guestbook messages!
Grid in Greek menu and order

Grid in Greek sells a range of Greek yogurt dishes along with several sandwich options. They had various Greek yogurt bowl menus using seasonal fruit, too.
As figs are in season right now, I ordered the Fig Greek M (₩11,900), which looked delicious with fresh-fruit topping, plus an iced Americano (₩5,000) to drink.

After ordering, I looked around the shop and found Greek yogurt sold in different sizes, as well as Suwon’s blue frog mascot, Suwoni, and small packs of honey and granola.

The weather was lovely~ the atmosphere was lovely~ and it is a perfectly good place for a simple solo meal in Haenggung-dong like I had, so there were lots of people dining alone!
They have sandwiches as well as Greek yogurt, so it looked like a great place to sort out a simple meal^^

How the Fig Greek M tasted
My Fig Greek M arrived.

The Fig Greek M did not look like a huge portion at first, but the more I ate, the more substantial it felt :) The bowl was full of diced figs, and there was a generous amount of the cacao granola I chose, too.

It looked healthy from the start~ The thick Greek yogurt was so delicious: mild and tangy! I thought it would be wonderful spread on bread, too :)
It was drizzled with sweet original honey, so the sweetness was excellent, excellent. It is truly a great menu item for breakfast or brunch. I thought it would be nice even for a child heading to kindergarten, so I wanted to buy some to take away, but I had afternoon plans—such a shame~
Later, when I have more time and can head straight home, I would like to stop by Grid in Greek in Buksu-dong and pick up Greek yogurt for my family to have over the weekend.
Public transit and parking tips
