Baby-friendly Seongsu café with peach milk soft serve: Mellows

Four adults and one baby went on a Seongsu real-estate scouting trip together haha... and after walking around for a while, it got SO hot ㅠㅠ. That's when we stumbled onto an ice cream shop called Mellows! We honestly hadn't planned to go there — we just wanted ice cream because of the heat — but it ended up being a Ttukseom ice cream spot that stuck with me because both the baby and the adults enjoyed it so much.

Mellows near Ttukseom Station: the basics

Mellows is a small café near Ttukseom Station. The place itself isn't very big and there aren't many seats inside, so if you're visiting with a group, it seems more comfortable to take it out or eat outside. We were five in total — four adults and a baby — so we ate outside, and honestly, that turned out to be the better choice.

The vibe out front is very Seongsu-coded haha... actually, more like New York! Sitting there with ice cream in hand made for pretty photos, and I felt like we'd really lucked out for a place we just wandered into.

What are the indoor bar seats and outdoor space like?

Inside, instead of regular tables, there are tall standing-bar-style seats, which look good for having a coffee alone or stopping by briefly with one other person.

The layout wasn't quite made for all five of us — four adults plus a baby — to sit inside together. So naturally, we headed outside!

Honestly, I personally liked the outdoor space in front of Mellows even more than the interior. The exterior already has that distinctly hip Seongsu feel, and sitting outside with an ice cream in hand just felt like the whole Seongsu-cool-café vibe haha.

We ordered, and when we told our baby the dessert this time was ice cream, she waited so calmly and patiently 💛

Mellows soft serve menu and prices

Mellows has a base soft serve ice cream with several combinations like matcha, peanut butter, and peach. We ordered one peach milk ice cream, two peanut butter ice creams, one matcha ice cream, and one iced americano! Prices were ₩2,500 for the americano, ₩3,500 for the ice cream, and ₩4,000 when you add matcha, chocolate, or peanut butter! Really cheap for Seongsu prices, don't you think...?!

With four adults each picking based on their own taste, we ended up unintentionally trying several kinds ✨. Best of all, it wasn't just plain soft serve — each one came with toppings on top, so the visuals were genuinely gorgeous.

Sharing ice cream at Mellows with a baby

First off, the visuals were just so cute haha. What I personally loved about Mellows was that it wasn't only a dessert adults would enjoy — it was also great to share with a baby. Our baby ate it happily, and all the adults cleaned their own orders too, haha.

Peach milk sounds like a perfect summer combination just from the name, and peanut butter was the one we were so excited about that we ordered two. With matcha in the mix too, there was fun in picking based on personal taste.

And drinking iced americano alongside the ice cream balanced out the sweetness nicely — a solid combination. 🔥 Maybe because we'd been out walking around Seongsu in the heat, we devoured it in no time haha.

It wasn't a Seongsu café we'd scoped out ahead of time, but places like this end up sticking in your memory more, somehow. Mellows was the spot we wandered into by chance while it was way too hot during our Seongsu scouting trip, and it turned out to be an ice cream place where both the baby and all the adults were satisfied! Eating outside especially added to the atmosphere — it really was the Seongsu-cool-café vibe itself. If you're looking for a light dessert near Ttukseom Station or Seongsu, I'd recommend picking a soft serve here rather than just getting coffee. Next time we're passing by and it's hot, I think we'll stop in again~!
