It's a place with tons of reviews and good ratings that anyone who loves meat has probably heard of, so I went in with high expectations — and after eating there, I got why it's such a popular meat spot in Dongbaek!

Unlike a typical BBQ place, this one has a butcher-shop style where you can pick from a variety of cuts yourself, which I really liked.

True to its name, the place has a hanok (traditional Korean house) feel, which gave it a cozier, more comfortable vibe than your typical BBQ joint.

It seemed like a good spot for a family dinner out, and also for friends or a date. Above all, the meat looked really fresh when I visited, so I think meat lovers would be quite satisfied!

It's not just meat on the table — there's a nice variety of banchan (side dishes) to go with it too. Salad, seasoned vegetables, pickles, lettuce wraps — lots of good options to pair with the meat.

Meat dipped in salt is already delicious, but switching between all these different side dishes lets you enjoy a whole range of flavors! Personally I love the combo of lettuce wrap + garlic + meat, and since I could grill the garlic right alongside the meat, I really got to enjoy it properly 🤍

There's also a refill corner, so you can help yourself whenever you need more 🤎

And finally, the charcoal grilling!

And now for today's main event! They lay the meat right on the grill and cook it for you, and watching it sizzle away just made me hungrier haha. Meat tastes best eaten right when it's nicely browned, not overcooked.

The outside got beautifully seared while the inside stayed juicy, so each bite was wonderfully moist. Grilling over charcoal in particular added a subtle smoky flavor — totally different from meat grilled at home.

If you're looking for a good meat restaurant in Yongin and you love that proper charcoal-grilled flavor, I'd recommend this place!
