Nowon sushi buffet with crinkle chicken, aged kimchi stew: Kuu Kuu

Today!! Let me write up my visit to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch. 🎶 I already love Kuu Kuu, but I heard this branch has raw salmon sashimi?!! I went to eat as much salmon sashimi as I possibly could 😋

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the 6th floor! There are a lot of schools nearby, so I think a lot of students come here.

The moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy and nice. The staff kindly showed us to our seat.

Prices, time limit, and what the seating is like

If there's a wait, there's a 90-minute time limit!

We were assigned a seat here, and thanks to the partitions it felt cozy haha.

For reference, there were a ton of seats, and a separate reserved-seating area too.

There's also a play room that kids love! Anyway, let's hurry up and dig in!!

Sushi and raw salmon sashimi

Right at the entrance there's a cluster of roll sushi.

To the left of that were all kinds of sushi. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail — there was a lot.

And there's sashimi too — other sashimi is good, but salmon is still the best... it just melts in your mouth. It was like eating at a proper raw fish restaurant!

I wanted to try a bit of everything so I piled my plate with all kinds haha.

There's plenty of sushi tucked into corners too, so look carefully!

What's on offer in the hot food zone

And all the way on the left is the hot food zone.

There were dishes you don't see at other Kuu Kuu branches, like steamed crab and steamed shrimp.

There were also lamb chops.

Pork ribs and crunkle chicken too haha.

There was also tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), sundae (Korean blood sausage), and gamjatang fried rice.

Aged kimchi chicken stew

Squid ink sausage stir-fry, lemon cream shrimp

Gwabaro (sweet and sour pork) and chili shrimp

Dessert: Kuu Skin Robbins and bead ice cream

And there's also Kuu Skin Robbins here~ I tried all the ice cream flavors, and honestly it rivals Baskin Robbins!! I lost count of how many times I went back haha.

And bead ice cream too~ It's really pricey to buy outside. I made up for it here haha.

A variety of cakes and desserts~ There weren't that many desserts. It's clearly a food-focused place! (The crepe cake is delicious 👍) For reference, there are also waffles and a chocolate fountain!

I ate through another round of assorted sushi too.

There were so many types of sushi that even one piece of each filled me up completely...
