Jeju souvenir bakery with 8 Harubangne treats: Today Jeju
In short
Today Jeju at Shilla Duty Free Shop is a Jeju souvenir bakery on the first floor of Shilla Duty Free Shop in Yeon-dong, Jeju. I chose the 28,200 won Harubangne eight-flavor set to try Jeju-inspired flavors including hallabong, matcha, and carrot. A polished final-day Jeju gift choice.

A Jeju souvenir shop on the first floor of Shilla Duty Free Shop
Because it is on the first floor of Shilla Duty Free Shop, it was so convenient to fit into my route. Since it is inside the duty-free building, you might wonder whether it is a passport-required duty-free area, but it is a non-duty-free shop that any Korean resident can enter comfortably.

At the front of the shop, Today Jeju's cute dol hareubang (Jeju stone grandfather) character logo was displayed neatly, so it was easy to spot even from a distance. Inside was compact and pleasant, with orderly display cases and tidy package boxes. Colorful desserts were neatly wrapped behind the counter, giving the whole place a polished, premium first impression.

Today Jeju gift-set lineup

The shop had a satisfying bakery selection full of Jeju character. Gift sets were clearly divided by size and type, which made it easy to choose according to your taste and purpose.

- Harubangne 8-flavor gift set (₩28,200): The signature set contains all of Today Jeju's flavors, including hallabong, matcha, carrot, baeknyeoncho, and Earl Grey.
- Harubangne 8-flavor half-and-half gift set (₩29,800): A balanced set of four regular Harubangne treats and four chocolate-coated Harubangne treats.
- Harubangne chocolate 4-flavor gift set (₩16,400): A four-flavor combination of chocolate, Earl Grey, matcha, and baeknyeoncho with a sweet chocolate coating.
- Harubangne Jeju 4-flavor gift set (₩14,600): An easygoing four-flavor set featuring hallabong, carrot/walnut, baeknyeoncho, and matcha, all inspired by pristine Jeju.
- Harubang Sand and Ang Butter Harubang line: Separate options for anyone who likes soft buttery flavors and nutty sandwich cookies were also neatly displayed to one side of the case.

What the Harubangne 8-flavor set tastes like

I wanted to try Today Jeju's signature lineup all at once, so I chose the Harubangne 8-flavor set. A neat box came inside a yellow shopping bag, and each individually wrapped treat had its own distinctive color. The Jeju dol hareubang silhouette was delicately formed too, which made them fun to look at, haha.
After opening them and checking the cross-sections, they had a dense yet moist, substantial texture somewhere between a canelé and a baked confection. The hallabong had a gentle citrus fragrance that freshened the palate, while the matcha delivered a rich green-tea flavor without bitterness. The subtly nutty baeknyeoncho, deep black-tea aroma of Earl Grey, and carrot with crunchy savory nuts each had a clear personality. The sweetness did not hit too hard, so they paired well with an Americano or tea.

A bite filled with Jeju flavor
They were not desserts merely imitating the shape—the flavors of Jeju ingredients were packed densely into every bite, and I was honestly impressed ♡
Using the Shilla Duty Free Shop parking tower
If you are arriving by car, you can use the Shilla Duty Free Shop parking tower. When entering or paying for parking, say that you visited Today Jeju; after confirming, they will help process your parking conveniently. Being right in the middle of the city, parking might be your first concern, so having immediate access to a comfortable parking tower was a major plus.
A gift for the last day of a Jeju trip
It is close to the airport and on the busy Noyeon-ro area, making it perfect to add to your itinerary on the final day of a Jeju trip. The cute, not-too-obvious look and the high-quality flavors solved my Jeju souvenir dilemma all at once, haha. They would make a lovely, neat tea-time gift for older relatives while also appealing to younger tastes, so I recommend them to anyone looking for a polished present.
