CORR, discovered near Sajik Baseball Stadium

Here’s CORR (코르), a very special dessert café in Sajik-dong, Busan, which gets even more lively during baseball season! It is already well known by word of mouth as a great dessert spot in Sajik-dong. I happened upon it near Sajik Baseball Stadium, and I really wanted to share it because everything—from the atmosphere and flavors to the owner’s kindness—was perfect.

Let me show you CORR’s exterior first. I visited at night, and its warm lighting stood out even from a distance.

CORR parking and location

🚗 Parking tip! There is dedicated parking behind the CORR Coffee shop, so it is easy to come by car. However, I recommend driving up the entrance ramp slowly and carefully so the underside of your car does not scrape.

It is at the intersection heading from the rear gate of Busan National University of Education toward Sajik Sports Complex, across from Yeogo Elementary School. Hours are daily from 09:00 to 22:00, and you can park behind the shop.

A wood-toned interior with plants

When I opened the door, an even prettier space than I expected unfolded! The owner has decorated it so beautifully.

The warm wood-toned interior is dotted with lush green plants, giving the space a cozy feel. The lighting is soft rather than too bright, so it looked perfect for a date or for reading alone.

There are two group rooms in particular, and the one with clear chairs and tables had a completely different feel. You could really tell that care had gone into every corner! Above all, the owner welcomed us so kindly that I felt happy as soon as I walked in.

Drinks and financiers ordered at CORR

Now, shall we look at the most important part: the menu? As you would expect from a place famous for financiers, the display case was filled with so many different baked treats.

Ordering is easy through the kiosk or POS. Looking over the menu, I saw that there were plenty of drinks besides coffee. We ordered an Americano and peppermint tea. And then, the long-awaited financiers! There were so many kinds that, after much deliberation, we chose three.

Our order arrived. The tray and dishes are stylish too, aren’t they?

The Americano was pleasantly straightforward, without an especially burnt or acidic taste. Its clean flavor would suit anyone and was perfect with dessert. The peppermint tea was refreshing, a great way to finish after eating. They use Kusmi Tea.

And now it was time for the real reason we came to CORR: the financiers! We ordered three kinds—basic, Earl Grey, and salty chocolate. The texture is exactly why I recommend this place for financiers. It was the textbook definition of crisp outside and moist inside! The moment I took a bite, I got a crisp exterior and a moist, chewy interior, and thought, ah, so this is why it is famous.

My absolute favorite was the Earl Grey financier! 💛 Its delicately spreading aroma was truly excellent. The basic one had a rich, nutty butter aroma, while the salty chocolate was the ideal sweet-and-salty pick for a sugar boost! Can you see how full and moist the inside is? If you love that crisp-outside, moist-inside texture, you will definitely be satisfied 😋

I had high expectations because it was already a famous dessert spot, but after trying it myself, I immediately understood why! I am 200% willing to revisit. I will be back soon to stock up on Earl Grey financiers.
