This is Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters, Lotte Department Store Nowon — a Nowon coffee spot I've been dying to talk about. I used to travel all the way to Suwon just to drink Jeong Ji-young coffee... so I'm so happy they opened a branch in Nowon :)
I went when it first opened, and I went back again! I revisited the signature coconut coffee I fell in love with last time, along with the drip coffee. Same consistently great coffee as always, and they're currently running a 20% discount event throughout September. Let me walk you through the discount info, location, hours, and my menu review in detail!
Where is Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters in Nowon, and what are the hours?

It's on the basement 1st floor, near Ttamttam, in the area next to the escalator where the cookie and bakery shops are clustered!
Roast options and free decaf for pregnant guests
Here's the Jeong Ji-young coffee menu. All coffees come with dark roast beans by default, but you can choose medium roast or decaf~ Pregnant customers can switch to decaf for free, so take advantage of that perk and enjoy your coffee decaf :)
They also sell cold brew coffee, and it was buy 2 get 1 free from September 4 to September 23.

Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters also sells drip bags and coffee beans. They even run their own coffee academy, keeping their consistent, reliable flavor — dark roast notes of dark chocolate, walnut, and a rich body. I've bought their beans plenty of times to enjoy at home, and honestly, it's never once let me down... it's great to always have delicious coffee on hand.

Ta-da, we ordered the signature coconut coffee and the Colombia El Paraiso double anaerobic rich peach drip coffee.
My husband, who loves drip coffee, ordered the Colombia El Paraiso anaerobic rich peach. Apparently anaerobic processing enhances the raw bean's acidity and fruit aroma even more.
Sure enough, the moment you pop the cup lid open, deep fruit aroma comes rushing up — so good, and clean and delicious too~ If you love hand-drip coffee with bright fruity acidity, you'll definitely be satisfied!
What does the signature coconut coffee taste like?
I ordered the signature coconut coffee, which has sold a cumulative 1.1 million cups. I fell in love with this coconut coffee last time — apparently it's their patented, flagship menu item!
It's coffee with coconut milk and a creamy shaking espresso layered in, so just stir it well before drinking~ The coconut milk and smooth espresso go together so harmoniously, and it's not too sweet at all — clean and delicious!
Such a creamy espresso~~ True to its status as the flagship menu of Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters, this Nowon coffee spot's coconut coffee is so smooth and delicious that I'd definitely recommend trying it at least once.
The coffee I once drove to Suwon for is now in Nowon
Ever since I discovered Jeong Ji-young coffee, I kept thinking about it so often that I'd travel all the way to Suwon to drink it — so having a great coffee shop nearby now makes me so happy. Their other coffee types, like Americano and lattes, are also really delicious, so no matter what you order, you can't go wrong.
