As the weather started cooling down a little, I wanted that autumn feeling and a bit of a mood refresh, so I went to get a pedicure. I'd been putting off toe care all summer, so I booked ahead and headed to Nail & Style on the 2nd floor of WesternDom.

The tools and supplies used are disposable, so hygiene is well managed. Since these things touch skin directly, I tend to pay attention to this, and everything here was clean enough that I could relax during the treatment.

The gel removal and pedicure process

I booked through Naver and had my gel removal and pedicure done by artist Minju. She was thorough from the very start of removing the old gel, explaining things along the way whenever needed, so I could relax and leave it to her. Her hands were fast too, so the whole process never felt slow, and I liked how carefully she checked the condition of my nails.

After removing the gel, she first sorted out the length and shape, then did basic care. She balanced the overall shape of the nails and cleaned up the cuticles neatly, so even before any color went on, everything already looked much tidier.

Choosing a color and the finished look

Nail & Style has such a huge variety of colors that I honestly had trouble deciding — decision paralysis from too many pretty options, haha. While I was hesitating, she smartly suggested colors that suited my skin tone and the season, which made choosing much easier.

With the weather turning cooler and that autumn mood settling in, I wanted a mood change, so I went with a new pedicure color — and once the color went on over my neatly cared-for nails, the whole vibe changed noticeably.

Seeing my feet all nicely done just makes me happy for no reason ♥️ I added a glitter accent for a pop, and it looks bright and sparkly and pretty.

From start to finish, the staff were friendly, and the shape and cuticle care were done meticulously, which made for a satisfying pedicure experience.
