Haeundae Western restaurant for a weekend lunch with mom: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a second-floor European-style Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan. On a weekend outing with her mom, the writer ordered the couple's dish set (51,000 won) and added a rucola prosciutto pizza (+5,000 won) for 56,000 won total, which brought pumpkin soup, garden salad, basil pesto cream pasta and fresh fruit drinks — so much food that the leftover pizza went home in a box. Between the atmosphere, the food and the friendly service, Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is worth a return visit.

I was looking for a good Western-style restaurant in Haeundae for a weekend date with my mom when I found Bueokgan Haeundae Branch.
It already had a reputation for great food and a great atmosphere. After going and eating it myself, I totally get why it's famous — here's my honest review of this Haeundae hotspot.
Where is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, and what are the hours and parking?
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is on the 2nd floor of 200 Dalmaji-gil117beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan, open 11:00 - 21:00 (break time 15:00 - 16:30), last order at 20:30.

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch sits on the Dalmaji-gil side of the neighborhood.

There's a parking lot right next door and another one behind the building, so parking space was fairly generous. I noticed people also parking along the street across the way.
The 1st floor has a Chinese restaurant and a café run by the same Bueokgan operators.

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, the European restaurant, is up on the 2nd floor. Since it's on a slope, there's an entrance on the other side that you can walk straight into without stairs or an elevator.
What comes in the 51,000 won couple's dish set at Bueokgan?
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch really has a wide variety of menu items. And the prices aren't that high either — especially if you order the set, it's a great value-for-money way to eat well. Definitely recommend the set!

We ordered the couple's dish set, and wow... the portions were so generous that we ended up packing the leftover pizza to take home.
- Bueokgan couple's dish set ₩51,000
- Pumpkin soup
- Garden salad
- Basil pesto cream pasta
- Rucola prosciutto pizza (+₩5,000)
- Single grapefruit
- Single orange
You can eat all of the above for ₩56,000 total. Honestly everything on the menu looked delicious, so we agonized over it before finally picking 🥹
Inside Bueokgan Haeundae Branch: the second-floor atmosphere

What really surprised me walking in was how great the vibe is ㅠㅠ The interior is flawless — now I get why they call it a European-style restaurant.

Wow, the color choices are so good — every table actually has a slightly different mood, and I loved them all so much I was low-key torn over where to sit.

Overall it's a warm European-style vibe, the kind of place where just sitting there makes you feel good, you know.
Going through this door to the other side leads to a whole different-feeling space.

Sunlight pours in and it feels so bright and cute.
Honestly the lighting, tables and little props here are all so lovely ㅜㅜ

The atmosphere is great for a date and especially good for a blind date — the tables are spaced pretty wide apart too, so it's easy to talk.

My mom said the vibe was great and the food was too, and joked she'd come back with a friend who lives nearby haha
Garden salad and pumpkin soup: an honest take on the set
Every table comes with cute little tableware set out.

This is the garden salad included in the set — the portion was quite generous and the dressing was really refreshing, perfect for waking up your appetite.

The tomatoes were really good too, and there was even prosciutto in it, so it was surprisingly varied and delicious.

Next up, the pumpkin soup. This soup here is apparently really famous?!
And one bite in, I totally got why. It's SO good.. The pumpkin flavor itself comes through really strong, sweet and super creamy. The texture is very fine, so it's on the thinner side, but you can still slightly feel that it was actually ground from real pumpkin — so smooth, and wow.. what is this flavor? Honestly I think I'm going to keep thinking about this one ㅠㅠ
Plus they give you a separate little soup plate, which is so cute haha. The staff here were also really kind, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Having drinks included in the set is such a nice touch. Both were 100% orange and grapefruit, clean and refreshing, and paired really well with the Western food.
Rucola prosciutto pizza, the best pizza I've eaten this year

This is the rucola prosciutto pizza my mom wanted the moment she saw it on the menu. Look how generously the rucola is piled on.
Okay this pizza is genuinely insane.. best pizza I've had in a while ㅠ For starters, whatever cheese this is, it's so savory and soft, so good.

The combination of prosciutto and rucola on top is truly wild. So delicious..

The pizza sauce is spread on super thin, and that works so well too. Honestly the dough itself is really tasty — you could eat just the dough and it's so savory and good. Best pizza I've had this year, I declare.

Basil pesto cream pasta and the poached egg you break over it
I was torn between carbonara and the basil cream pasta, but figured it also has cream in it anyway, so — and honestly if I hadn't ordered it, I would have really regretted it.

This one comes topped with a poached egg, which I think adds even more to the softness and richness. Goes together perfectly ㅠㅠ
The joy of popping the poached egg.

Ugh, it looks so pretty but tastes even better ㅠㅠ Why did I only just discover this Haeundae restaurant now.

The basil flavor is strong but doesn't feel overpowering. It pairs so well with the cream, and it's so creamy and smooth that you end up spooning up the sauce like it's soup.

A lot of people must be looking for a good Western restaurant in Haeundae, and I think I'm going to be recommending this place around like crazy from now on. My parents would love it too ㅠㅠ

Dipping the tasty pizza dough into the basil cream sauce is pure bliss. I basically licked the plate clean.

We were so full we packed up the leftover pizza, and it was so good I ate another slice as soon as we got home haha. If you're looking for a good Western restaurant in Haeundae, I really recommend Bueokgan Haeundae Branch. It's great for a date and the seating is spacious enough for group gatherings too. I'm planning to go back soon ㅎㅁㅎ
