We came to Dongnae Lotte Department Store to watch a movie, and ended up at Moshi Moshi for sushi!

We watched a movie at Lotte Cinema Dongnae and then went to eat sushi with family at Moshi Moshi — totally satisfied!! The place has an open layout so it never feels cramped, and it's spacious all the way to the back, which I loved haha. Every time I visit it's packed with customers! The sushi set came out generous and we left completely full *V* ❤️

Turns out Moshi Moshi Sushi is actually a chain! It started near Pusan National University and now there's also a branch at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok. A fresh, delicious sushi spot you can trust! ♥️Moshi Moshi♥️

Moshi Moshi Sushi had a variety of set options so it was easy to choose haha 🍣Best menu = the sushi set🍣, but there's also an udon set, a soba set, a sashimi set and more, so you can pick according to your taste 👍🏻 There are also 2-person and 3-person set menus, perfect for a family meal ~ or a date ~!

When you click on the sushi set menu, there's a basic version and a 'better' upgraded version. It's a ₩4,000 difference, so today we ordered both to see what the actual difference is!!

Basic vs upgraded sushi set: what does ₩4,000 more get you?

Ta-da! The sushi sets arrived! You can tell at a glance which is basic and which is the upgraded version! The first one is the basic sushi set, the second is the upgraded sushi set!

For just ₩4,000, the sushi was noticeably different haha. Everything besides the sushi — udon, tempura, salad, tofu — was exactly the same. Only the sushi varied ✌🏻

Since the price gap isn't big, if you want a slightly more generous and proper sushi experience, I'd personally recommend investing the extra ₩4,000! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can clearly see the difference in composition and presentation at a glance, which honestly built up the anticipation even before eating !!!

8 pieces of sushi: thick cuts with no fishy smell

Since it's called a 'sushi set,' each person can order their own set menu, which keeps things neat and tidy ~! But above all, the quality and freshness of the sushi was extremely satisfying! Each set came with 8 pieces of sushi, and every piece had thick, generous fish with a clean taste and absolutely no fishy smell!! There's a reason we keep coming back to Moshi Moshi Sushi every time we visit Dongnae Lotte Department Store ~🎶

This beef tartare sushi (yukhoe sushi) that came with the 'better' sushi set was also amazing. I'm usually not a big fan of raw beef tartare, but eating it as sushi like this was so good haha

Tempura good enough for an izakaya

Sweet pumpkin tempura, shrimp tempura, eggplant tempura and more — the quality was clearly a different league from the tempura you'd get at a regular snack shop haha. It tasted like tempura you'd get at an izakaya!

I love sushi so much that I've been to all-you-can-eat sushi buffets before, where they advertise 'made by a sushi master,' but once you actually go, you can totally tell the sushi was made cheaply to keep costs down... that cheap-sushi taste... So I decided that sushi really needs to be eaten at a proper sushi specialty restaurant. That's how I discovered this Dongnae Lotte Cinema sushi favorite, Moshi Moshi Sushi! Definitely visit *V*
