How's the location and parking?

Jeongseong Katsu Chuncheon Toegye Branch is at 📍 10-8 Toegye-ro 93beon-gil, 1st floor, Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea. It's only about 300 meters from the Toegye-dong Community Service Center, so it wasn't hard to find!

🚗 For parking, head toward the back entrance of the store, where there's an underground lot — good to know if you're driving.

Atmosphere and seating

Once you sit down, they bring you cool barley tea right away! 😊 High chairs are available too, so it's great for dining out with kids. From solo meals to dates to family outings, the vibe worked well for all kinds of visits ✨

Western-style King Tonkatsu Set

It's called king tonkatsu, and it really lives up to the name in size haha. The sauce was so good I kept eating more. If you like old-school Western-style (gyeongyangsik) dishes, this one will really satisfy you. The sauce was smooth and tasty, and paired with the crispy tonkatsu it tasted just like the old-fashioned Western-style pork cutlets!

Kimchi Fish Cake Udon

We also ordered the Kimchi Fish Cake Udon, and it was way better than expected! The broth was spicy and tangy, so having a bite between katsu bites really reset my palate. The chunky fish cakes were fun to pick through too, and the udon portion itself was pretty generous. Pairing crispy tonkatsu with warm, spicy kimchi udon turned out to be a pretty great combo. Personally, I'd recommend ordering an udon alongside the katsu rather than just katsu alone!

The Triple Mixed Katsu Set looked amazing right from the start ✨ True to its name, it lets you enjoy three kinds of katsu at once! Loin katsu + tenderloin katsu + cheese katsu, all on one plate! I chose the spicy sauce, and it hit my taste buds better than I expected 🔥

And the curry that came alongside the katsu! That turned out to be a hidden gem. The curry itself was delicious, and dipping the katsu into it made an amazing combo 🤎 Crispy katsu + rich curry — need I say more?

First off, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the varied menu made it easy to pick according to your taste. Above all, the Triple Mixed Katsu lets you enjoy loin, tenderloin and cheese katsu all at once, so I'd recommend it for a first visit 👍
