How to walk to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch from Hagye Station
Coming out of Hagye Station Exit 2, I walked almost straight ahead and turned left, where Golmaeul Neighborhood Park appeared — right there I could spot the building with Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch immediately~ It took just under 10 minutes from Exit 2 😙
Heading toward the front of the building, the orange Kuu Kuu letters catch your eye right away~
This one was taken later in the evening — here's what the street in front of the building looks like~
Walking in through the Seoul Onchun entrance~ you reach a lobby with elevators~ Even inside the elevator there's a Kuu Kuu sign, so it was easy to find right away ☺️
Since the building is big, there are plenty of elevators too~ Two on the side we got off at~ and two more right in front of the store entrance~
The waiting area and banners outside Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
In front of the elevators there's a long bench for waiting~ There's also usage etiquette posted above the seats, so give it a glance before going in or while you wait~

There were also lots of banners around the elevators~ There's an event offering unlimited free draft beer if you write a Naver review, so beer lovers should take note~
There was also a promotional banner for Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch's new menu~ Salmon, which I love 😋 It's served on weekday dinners and weekends/holidays, so if you're a salmon lover like me, plan your visit around one of those times~

And the marble ice cream I'd been looking forward to~~ Dessert was already decided 😆
The restroom layout was a bit unusual. Women's restroom on one side 🚺 men's on the other 🚹 each at opposite ends~
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch prices and how to book
There's a CatchTable kiosk out front~ The instructions differ depending on whether you've made a Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch reservation or not, so check that~ The kiosk also shows Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch's hours, which differ slightly between weekdays and weekends, so worth a look too 😙
Next to the kiosk, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch prices are also posted~ Prices vary by time slot and age group~ Weekday lunch is for entry before 5pm, and weekday dinner is for entry after 5pm~

Is there parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch?
Parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is free for 2 hours if you use the building's parking lot. However, if it's full, you'll need to use a nearby paid lot~ Just inside the store entrance there are signs for restroom locations, parking guidance, and more~
Right in front of the store entrance is a counter with all sorts of notices~
First, at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, an eco fee applies if you eat only the sashimi off sushi and leave the rice behind~ If you only want sashimi, go to a raw fish restaurant instead 😅

There's also a digital display gathering all the mouth-watering dishes in one spot~ But this is just a drop in the bucket 😝 because far more kinds of food await us 😁

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch prices are posted once more at the counter~ You can also earn points by phone number, so if you visit Kuu Kuu often, it might be worth signing up~
There's also detailed info on the buffet's closing time at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, so check it out~
Across from the counter, various teas and mugs are displayed, all of which are for sale~
Inside a 300-pyeong, 400-seat sushi buffet
We booked through Naver Reservation and, after a short wait, went straight in~ Guided by staff to our table, my jaw dropped at the sheer scale — over 300 pyeong, more than 400 seats total 😲 It really was massive, and the seating was varied too — open areas, partitioned spaces — which was nice~ And despite being this huge, it was still comfortable, which was just amazing 🤭

Above all, true to its reputation as a Nowon family-gathering favorite, there's nothing to worry about even coming in a group~ You can rent private spaces for 50, 80, or even up to 300 people 😊 Not just family gatherings — any kind of group or event could probably be accommodated here 🤭
What age is the playroom for?
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch's charms are just getting started~ There's a playroom set up for kids too~ Since children often get bored during long gatherings, having a playroom like this seems like a huge help for both kids and parents alike 😄
Just note that the playroom at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is open to children up to age 7~ High chairs are also available~
Once seated, staff bring a receipt that also lists the alcohol menu~

A tour of the food stations at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
Now for the main event — touring the food~ First up, Kuu Kuu draft beer 🍺 Available after ordering, but my cousin and I are lightweights so we passed 😁

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, the Nowon family-gathering favorite, has an incredible variety of food 🫢

There are various bunsik (Korean street snacks) and Chinese dishes too~
Plenty of hot soups that really hit the spot, plus soups and porridge~
The soup en croute had a striking look 🫢 it's hot, so you definitely need tongs to serve it 🔥🔥

New on the menu: smoked duck and all-day lamb chops
There's also a made-to-order station, plus another new Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch item — smoked duck~ Can't miss the new menu 😝 Lamb ribs have also launched, and they're available all day~

Seafood options are varied too — steamed crab, steamed shrimp, steamed oysters 🦀🦐 Shellfish lovers can't skip this either 😆

The drinks bar and ube latte
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch also has an incredibly wide range of drinks~ From teas to sodas, juices, coffee, and slushies 🍵☕️🥤 My eyes went wide, and among them was the currently trending ube latte 🤭
Raw salmon, sushi, rolls and salads
And the raw salmon I'd been most excited about~~ It was the new menu item I anticipated the most at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch 😆 Mentally reserved it for later 😝
There are notices here and there about allergen information and about possible netting or rubber bands that can be found on crab and shrimp, so give those a look now and then~
From California rolls to salads, there were so many varieties I ended up filming a video of it 🤣
So many kinds of sushi too 🫢 In particular, the flounder, salmon, and shrimp sushi have reportedly been upgraded in size and flavor compared to before 🤭
The salad selection is varied enough that even dieters would be fine here 🤣 Worth a thorough look 😆
Desserts and marble ice cream
The dessert selection is dazzling too — waffles, chocolate fountains, cakes, pies, rice cakes, fruit, and more 😲
And to top it all off, ice cream. The marble ice cream in particular had me very excited 😁

First plate: shrimp three ways and salmon sashimi
The long-awaited first plate~ I piled it high with things I love — steamed shrimp, chili shrimp, cream shrimp, salmon sashimi, and more 😆
The salmon sushi and salmon sashimi were even better quality than I expected 😄 Soft, savory salmon flavor 🍣 The sashimi in particular tasted even better paired with onion and sauce 😋
After that we kept enjoying more — steamed crab, soup, and whatever else suited our taste~ True to its reputation as a Nowon family-gathering favorite, the food was delicious 😙
Is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch worth a visit?
We ate generously and wrapped up with fruit and assorted desserts~ The pineapple and melon were delicious, and the marble ice cream didn't disappoint as expected 😆 Eating well and happily right to the end left me very, very satisfied 🥰
The food had great variety and mostly good quality, and above all, being able to eat in such an incredibly vast yet comfortable space was a plus 😄 That wraps up my satisfied review of Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch prices, parking, reservations, and more ☺️
If you're looking for a Nowon family-gathering favorite, or a large restaurant that can host any kind of event or gathering, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch seems like a great choice 👍
