Geurine Oasis is a large bakery café right next to Gomo Reservoir in Pocheon, near Gwangneung Arboretum. The weather had been gloomy for a while and I was feeling down, but the rain finally stopped and a clear day arrived :) After dropping the kids off, I headed out to get some fresh air~~~~

I was completely won over. I'd only been to other cafés around Gomo before, and this was my first time at Geurine Oasis — so good :) A must-visit café in Pocheon for the view.

The fire-gazing zone outside at Geurine Oasis by Gomo Reservoir looks amazing — I really need to come back at night sometime +_+ The main building doesn't allow dogs, but the annex does! Parking is spacious, though I heard it can fill up sometimes~ There's a map for this large dog-friendly café by Gomo Reservoir. A great big café in Pocheon, hahaha.

Geurine Oasis has a separate kiosk for dog treats

This dog-friendly café in Pocheon has a separate kiosk for dog treats, apart from the human menu kiosk. I was looking at it thinking "wait, they sell burgers here too?" and my sister, who came with me, pointed out that it was actually dog treats. A little embarrassed, haha.

Bread and cakes at Geurine Oasis: a small but solid selection

Back to the human menu kiosk, hahaha. Geurine Oasis really is like an oasis in Pocheon! If you're looking for a large café in Pocheon, I'd recommend giving it a visit — it's not a one-time-only place, haha.

The bread selection isn't huge, but it's well curated — just the types people are most into these days. And the cakes looked so good... I really regretted eating a big lunch before coming ㅠㅠ

Rules for using the Geurine Oasis dog run

This Pocheon café with a dog run even has tables inside the run, so you can spend time there together with your pup :) There are usage guidelines for the dog run at this Gomo café, worth checking before you visit :)

• Height under 50cm / weight under 24kg (though I did see larger big dogs lying in the dog-friendly space in the annex~ Seems like big dogs can visit too, just can't use the play area ^^)
• Dogs must be registered and fully vaccinated
• Owners must supervise and control their dogs at all times
• Owners are responsible for any incidents / access may be restricted

Pretty standard, common-sense rules ^^ For anyone bringing their pup~ haha. The ground is also neatly laid with pretty gravel, so it was easy and nice to walk on.

Is parking easy at Geurine Oasis?

This large café in Pocheon is easy to park at — Geurine Oasis has plenty of parking space. There's even more parking off to the side outdoors ^^ Still, if the lot fills up, they say you can use the nearby public parking lot.

Indoor seating, reusable cups, hours and location

After enjoying the Gomo fountain show, watching the water, and getting some fresh air outside, it got a bit warm so I headed indoors at Geurine Oasis :) So refreshingly cool~ The indoor space isn't cramped either. Both the annex and the main building are spacious and clean, which I loved.

I'm still using the reusable cup from Geurine Oasis a lot at home 👍👍
