When I’m looking for a café near Gangnam Station, I prefer dessert spots with plenty of seating. I heard Selected Nicks was famous in Gangnam for its tiramisu, so I went to check it out!
As a large café, it was great for relaxing over coffee and had that study-café feel that’s perfect for working at a café 🤓 Selected Nicks was also a nice place to go just for dessert—let’s get into it!

It’s open from 08:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 23:30 on weekends. For parking, enter through the rear entrance of Selected Nicks and ask a staff member on the first floor.
A large Gangnam café spread across several floors
Selected Nicks is tucked into an alley near Daesung Academy.
There was an outdoor terrace, and they also offer space rental services.
You can use the café spaces from basement level 1 through floors 1–3. Each floor had a slightly different vibe, so it was fun looking around 😜
First-floor desserts and tiramisu menu
I ordered on the first floor, where desserts were lined up all around!
They had loads of desserts that go well with coffee, from the trendy chewy Dubai tiramisu to financiers, madeleines, and chocolate cookies ^~^ Prices started around ₩4,500 too, so they felt like great value.
There were so many tiramisu flavors too—strawberry, banana, pistachio, and more—so choosing was fun haha. I was curious about the chewy Dubai tiramisu that day, but sadly it was sold out when I visited, so I had to pass..
There was also a wide choice of drinks, from strawberry lattes and milk tea to ade, vitamin drinks, and decaf. After some deliberation, I ordered strawberry tiramisu + a vanilla latte! The dessert and drink came to ₩17,300.
My drink and dessert came out right away, so I took them upstairs to the second floor '-'
Gallery-like second-floor study café atmosphere
When I got up to the second floor of Selected Nicks, it was much more spacious than I expected and had such a calm atmosphere.
There were so many artworks on the walls, and the floor was beautifully decorated like a gallery café. Even with lots of tables, it didn’t look cluttered at all—just a little upscale and elegant.. ✨
It looked like a nice place to chat on a weekend or over lunch, or to come on a date😉 I think people like me who enjoy studying or working alone at a café with coffee would like it too.
Strawberry tiramisu and vanilla latte pairing
The strawberry tiramisu was topped with fresh strawberries 🍓 and layered with strawberry mascarpone cream and soft cake inside!
I took a big spoonful, and the cream was soft with a lovely tart strawberry flavor haha. The cream itself wasn’t too heavy either, making this easier to eat than I expected! Now I see why people call this a great tiramisu spot..
Eating it with the sweet vanilla latte made the strawberry tiramisu taste twice as good~!
Oh, and they sold pouches in the second-floor gallery too. Most were around ₩12,800, I think? I remember the price being pretty decent, so it was fun browsing the pouches too haha.
Return trays on the first floor, and the straws and wet wipes are all there too, so keep that in mind before you go!
