And since Olympic Park is nearby too, it works well as a date course that flows into a walk afterward 🌿 Perfect when you're not quite ready to head straight home — a walk to help digest, and that's a wrap!

Katsu Monster has quite a lineup — from a basic set to mixed katsu, cheese katsu, udon, cold soba, and more~!?

After going back and forth, what I ended up ordering this time was the mixed katsu B — the tenderloin + cheese combo!

Because I wanted the tenderloin AND the cheese 😋 If you make me pick just one, that's way too hard… so in the end, I'm the type of person who just gets both lol = me lol lol

Barley tea, plus rice and soup refills

And the moment I sat down, one thing quietly caught my eye~!~~! 👀 Instead of plain water, they had nutty, toasty barley tea ready! I'm the type who gets weirdly fond of a place over small details like this lol, and a cup of barley tea really got my appetite going 💖

🐷 The freshly fried tonkatsu arrives!! 🐽 The cutlets that had been busily frying away in the open kitchen finally showed up 🙌🏻

I'd been eagerly waiting, and the moment the hot, freshly fried tonkatsu landed on the plate, it already looked delicious just from the visuals 🥹💗

Have to take photos, have to eat — the busiest person in this situation = me lol lol 📸

I quickly snapped some photos and then grabbed a piece right away! With the crispy coating meeting the warm cutlet inside, tonkatsu really has to be eaten the moment it comes out 😋

What I especially loved about the mixed katsu B I ordered is that being tenderloin + cheese, you get to enjoy the mild, tender tenderloin katsu alongside the nutty, stretchy cheese katsu, all on one plate 🧀💗

Dip the hot, freshly fried tonkatsu into the sauce, add a spoonful of rice… honestly, that combo is impossible to resist 🤤
