Cheongna Mexican restaurant shrimp fajita platter date: Taco Dot

You know those days when you just crave Mexican food? This was exactly one of those haha. I heard there was a place in Cheongna where you could enjoy tacos and other Mexican dishes, so I went with my boyfriend :) It's Taco Dot Cheongna Branch (타코닷 청라점) ♡

What the Taco Dot Cheongna dining room is like

Walking inside, the space was bigger and more comfortable than I expected :)

Each table had a tablet, so we could order right away without calling a staff member over!!

They also had baby chairs ready and separate seating for groups, so it looked like a good spot for families or a bigger group of friends too ♡

Why we chose the fajita platter at Taco Dot

From tacos to fajitas and all kinds of Mexican dishes, the menu had more variety than I expected!

After a long look through the menu, we picked the signature Fajita Platter 🤍

The fajita platter arrived ✨

One tray came piled with shrimp, bacon, fried rice, mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables — it looked pretty generous :)

You pick whatever ingredients you like and wrap them in a tortilla yourself, so it was fun to eat. And best of all, the tortillas and sauce were unlimited refills, so I liked not having to worry about running out ♡

I put shrimp and fried rice on my tortilla, then added yogurt and salsa sauce on top. In one bite you get the springy texture of the shrimp, the savory fried rice, and the tangy salsa all together — the combination worked really well 🤍

The seasoning wasn't too strong either, so it wasn't heavy even after eating a lot ☺︎ And even with my boyfriend, who eats a lot, joining me, the portion was plenty for two of us ,, One fajita platter alone was enough to fill us both up 𓂃 ♡

As we ate, the tortillas ran out quickly, but the owner refilled them for us :) Being able to comfortably get more whenever we needed was a nice touch 🤍 Mixing and matching different ingredients kept us going back for tortilla refills haha.

Drinks to go with the fajita platter

We ordered draft beer and Zero Coke alongside the fajita platter :) Wrapping different ingredients in tortillas and pausing for a cold draft beer in between worked really well together 🤍 It was a good combo for a relaxed date meal 🍺

Is Taco Dot Cheongna a filling Mexican meal for two?

Overall, the store was wide and comfortable, which made it easy to eat at ease :) Ordering through the table tablet was convenient, and being able to refill tortillas and sauce without worry was great too 🤍 Above all, I was satisfied that one fajita platter could fill both of us up.
