Visiting Resting07 on Dongseong-ro in Daegu

Today I visited "Resting07," an Italian restaurant in Dongseong-ro, Daegu!

The exterior was so nicely decorated that I immediately thought it would be perfect for a date or a special occasion!!

When I went inside, it was really crowded — I guess because it was Friday evening! It ended up being full, so I had to wait, ㅜ

Still, I could easily register for the waitlist using the tablet near the entrance, and there was a small waiting area with seats, so I didn't have to stand around haha. After waiting about 15–20 minutes, a table opened up!

At the table I was shown to, there was a tablet installed, so I could look at the menu and order comfortably — really nice 👍🏻

• Cola – ₩3,000

After finishing the order, they first set out pre-meal bread along with water, pickles, and small plates 🍽️

They even gave us an ice cup for the cola!

The pre-meal bread was the type you dip into oil! The bread was really soft and moist, easy to eat 🥖

Dipped in the oil sauce, it was savory but light in flavor — perfect as a starter to settle the stomach and whet the appetite before the main dishes 😋

Then the food arrived! The plating was so well done that all I could think was how much I wanted to dig in haha ㅠㅠ

What is the steak cream pasta at Resting07 like?

<Steak cream pasta> This is the steak cream pasta I enjoyed the most!! Doesn't it already look hearty and delicious just from the visuals?!

This dish comes with the cream sauce and pasta noodles slightly separated, so there's the fun of mixing them together however you like!

It's the familiar, delicious cream pasta flavor we all know, but with five thick steak pieces and mushrooms as the highlight on top, which made the flavor so much richer 🤤

Especially this steak!! It had absolutely no toughness and melted softly in my mouth 😚 On top of that, the mushrooms were chewy yet soft with a pleasant aroma that came through, pairing so well with the rich cream sauce 👍🏻 I really want to recommend this pasta!

Margherita pizza: a light match for the cream pasta

<This is the Margherita pizza> A classic look with fluffy cheese piled prettily in the center! The dough was thin and chewy, so it was enjoyable to chew all the way to the crust 👍👍 Each slice had cheese on it, along with tomato and basil.

It was a basic, clean pizza that anyone could enjoy without complaint! Since the pasta's cream sauce was quite heavy, I think ordering this light, back-to-basics pizza actually balanced out the overall meal nicely 😌

Is the 4,500-won mini salad worth adding?

<Mini salad> Not a main dish, but I tried it as a side! It came piled high with various fresh vegetables and topped generously with a tangy dressing — the combination of vegetables and dressing was a perfect match ✨ It was great before the main dishes and also as a fresh palate cleanser in between bites of the mains!

Wine-bottle interior, tablet ordering and other amenities

While waiting for the food, I glanced around the store and noticed the interior was nicely decorated with wine bottles here and there 🍷 It turns out corkage is allowed here too! Thanks to the tasteful wine bottle decor, the atmosphere felt even more emotional and inviting ✨

There are also baby chairs and napkins at every table~

This was a great place to have a clean, comfortable meal in a nice atmosphere! If you're craving Italian food in Dongseong-ro or looking for a good restaurant, I recommend Resting07 — the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous ❤️ If you want to dine in a room, reservations are available too, so I recommend it!
