Resting My Feet in Jeonju Hanok Village
Let me introduce a Jeonju Hanok Village café that my child liked even more than I did. At this place, you can rest your feet with a massage and foot bath, and get some healing time too! It even has a great view. 😎
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang

It is on the second floor of the Pungnyeon Confectionery building across from the waterwheel, at the intersection of Taejo-ro and Eunhaeng-ro. Right in the center, it makes a great midway stop while sightseeing.

The entrance is this way! Just follow the stairs up to the second floor. When I came in the evening before, there was a queue all the way to the stairs, but this time I came during the day and it was relatively quiet, so I went straight in without waiting. This is the very place several celebrities visited on Six Sense!

The Basic Course and Getting Ready
I had the basic course for ₩15,000 per person. It includes a 30-minute aroma foot bath, a shoulder massager, and a drink. They also sell foot-bath additives, ramie leaf tea, persimmon leaf mint tea, massagers, and hand acupressure rollers.

First, change into slippers at the shoe cabinet and put your belongings in a locker. I liked that my things could be stored safely too.

I was shown to my seat by a staff member. The hanok-style atmosphere was so lovely too!

Hanok-Style Seats with a Great View
I think the best thing about this Jeonju Hanok Village café is that the seating is spacious and every seat has a good view. There is air conditioning indoors as well as a personal fan, so it was pure coolness,,! There was also a personal table in front, which made it easy to get comfortable.

It was cool indoors, but they also brought over a blanket so I could regulate my temperature—absolute bliss. 👍 If you get cold easily, just turn off the fan and wrap yourself in the blanket.

They gave me a hand acupressure roller with the blanket too. Holding it and pressing my hands made my body fatigue feel like it was melting away! I rolled it around diligently to massage my hands.

Rosemary Aroma Foot Bath
For the aroma, I could choose peppermint, lavender, or rose. They say peppermint helps with leg swelling, lavender calms the mind and body and eases insomnia, and rosemary relieves stress, so choose according to how you feel. I chose rosemary for stress relief. 😙

At Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang, I was letting all my fatigue melt away! The temperature was just right, and I loved that it even massaged the soles of my feet. It did not hurt—just felt wonderfully refreshing.

Even elementary-school children really love it. It is a place everyone, from adults to kids, can enjoy.

A Shoulder Massager and a Drink Too
At the same time, they bring over a shoulder massager. Put your arms through the handles and wear it around you, and the fatigue melts right out of your neck and shoulders. Once you are done with your shoulders, you can place it on your stomach for another massage. I could use it freely during my allotted time.

Since this is a Jeonju Hanok Village café, I had to have a drink too, right? I had eaten lots of different foods while walking around, so it was perfect to have something light: an Americano, ramie leaf tea, persimmon leaf mint tea, burdock tea, or iced tea.

I had an Americano in the morning, so I ordered warm burdock tea here. There was so much that I could not finish it 🤣 Anyway, it was nutty and warm, and I happily sipped away. They say it is good for dieting, kidney function, constipation, and blood vessels—so it was just the thing, right?

There were tourist guidebooks too, so I flipped through one, looked at my phone a little, admired the scenery, and had a proper healing break.

Foot Care After the Foot Bath
When the foot bath is over, they bring you a towel. Just dry your feet with it before you leave.

Put your feet up on the table and finish by applying foot cream to the tops of your feet, avoiding the soles!

My feet felt so soft, and all the fatigue felt completely gone. If you are looking for a Jeonju Hanok Village café where you can rest and recharge, I recommend Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang. 👍
