Finding Low Five Anguk, a pizza restaurant down a Bukchon alley, on a Friday evening
Low Five Anguk is a pizza restaurant on the 1st floor of 20-3 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, set inside an alley in Bukchon. On a Friday evening with a cool breeze blowing, my boyfriend and I headed to Bukchon for a rare, relaxed evening together.
Wandering through some of Bukchon's must-see spots, strolling along the quiet hanok stone-wall alleys and soaking in the romantic atmosphere away from our busy daily lives, we made our way to a spot I'd already scoped out for its mood. Even tucked away in a back alley, it had already won over plenty of visitors with its great taste and one-of-a-kind atmosphere, so I was full of anticipation before we even arrived. That place was Low Five, well known as a trendy pizza specialist. 🍕
What is the atmosphere like inside Low Five Anguk?
The interior of Low Five Anguk had a cozy yet stylish mood. The moment we opened the door and stepped inside, the interior design was a delight for the eyes.

Soft lighting harmonized with tasteful little props to create a warm mood, perfect for a date course.

Ordering for two: salad pasta, half-and-half pizza and zero cola
We sat down side by side, opened the menu, and started sweetly debating what to try. Low Five Anguk is known for its creative pizzas piled with varied toppings and its pasta generously loaded with fresh ingredients, so after some deliberation we ordered the salad pasta, a half-and-half pizza (taco and hot chili potato), and two glasses of chilled zero-calorie cola. 🥤
How does the salad pasta at Low Five Anguk taste?
Low Five Anguk's salad pasta is a dish where a mountain of fresh vegetables meets a refreshing dressing. Not long after we ordered, a large tray of main dishes was set beautifully on the table, and the salad pasta was the first thing to catch my eye.

Underneath the crisp vegetables were springy, well-boiled pasta noodles hidden away — the perfect side to pair with heavier main dishes. A tangy-sweet, palate-awakening special sauce coated the noodles and vegetables evenly, so every bite spread a refreshing feeling through my whole mouth.
Taco vs hot chili potato: comparing the two halves of the pizza
Low Five Anguk's half-and-half pizza lets you enjoy two flavors on a single pie, and this time we chose taco and hot chili potato. Next up came today's highlight — the half-and-half pizza.

We tried the taco pizza and the hot chili potato pizza separately. The taco pizza had an exotic fragrance along with the textures of its toppings and ingredients coming through at once, giving the fullness of eating Mexican food at a specialty restaurant. It had a slight kick!
Sitting right beside it, the hot chili potato pizza combined a spicy-sweet sauce with several different cuts of potato for a texture that left a deep impression with every bite. It was the best.
The dough itself wasn't dry at all — chewy yet light — so even my boyfriend said it was delicious down to the very end. We were able to enjoy the pizza all the way to the edge without leaving anything behind.
Why Low Five Anguk works as a Bukchon date-night dinner
Low Five Anguk was a great spot to eat slowly while watching the Bukchon scenery through the window. Sipping the cool zero-calorie cola between bites cleansed the palate and made each dish's flavor stand out even more.

Watching people stroll leisurely by outside the window, placing tasty bites on each other's spoons, and chatting warmly, we completely lost track of time. It was a wonderful choice for anyone wanting a delicious meal in Bukchon with a romantic mood.
Even on our way out after the meal, we couldn't help smiling while taking photos of the striking exterior. If you're looking to make cozy memories with a partner in Bukchon or want to try something distinctive, I hope you fill your time with warmth at Low Five Anguk.
