It's located right in the middle of the Bukmasan furniture street. You can park in front of the shop until 1:30pm; after that, please use the public parking lot at the entrance of the furniture street alley next door. One hour free at the public lot, one voucher per table ✔️

Since Yun Sikdang has only one menu, there's nothing to agonize over haha. The grilled bulgogi set meal (per person) is ₩16,000, and from elementary school age up, they ask for one menu per person.

Nine banchan plus the 4,000 won sancho seasoned crab

The basic nine-dish spread (九첩반상, a table set with nine side dishes) comes out first, then the mains arrive one by one. Honestly, you could finish a whole bowl of rice on the side dishes alone haha.

Special shoutout to the seasoned crab ‼️ Let me tell you about this seasoned crab — it comes as a basic side dish and it was so good, and the refill is only ₩4,000 haha (we got a refill haha). It had sancho (Korean pepper) powder in it, which made it a really unique seasoned crab, and I'm a huge sancho powder fan so I was thrilled ❤️

Of course a bulgogi set meal comes with wrap vegetables as standard ✔️

The spicy cabbage-squid salad had a spicy seasoning that whets your appetite, and the crunchy cabbage paired well with the chewy, tender squid.

How the grilled bulgogi, mackerel, abalone and kimchi pancake taste

The smoky grilled bulgogi hits you the moment it's in your mouth, packed with grill flavor, and the inside was moist with real juiciness and flavor. The sauce is sweet and spicy, perfect as a rice side dish, and just as good wrapped in lettuce!!

The mackerel is lightly coated and fried until crisp on the outside, moist on the inside! I loved the clean flavor unique to mackerel, and the meat came off the bone easily, glistening beautifully. Great with plain rice!

Softly boiled abalone marinated in savory soy sauce, with the umami really coming through. It was chewy yet tender, and not too salty!

The thinly fried kimchi pancake was crisp outside, soft inside — and being so thin actually made the texture even better. The kimchi's tang came through gently, and I kept reaching for more haha.

And when the piping hot doenjang (soybean paste stew) arrives, the whole table is complete ❤️ The savory doenjang was packed with vegetables, with a clean, deep flavor that wasn't heavy. It wasn't too salty, so it went well with all the other side dishes. Overall, the seasoning at Yun Sikdang was spot on across the board!
