Where is Yun Sikdang in Masan, and what are its hours?

Yun Sikdang is on the 1st floor of 26-1 Bukseong-ro, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, right in the middle of the Bukmasan furniture street. It's open 11:30–20:30 with a break time from 14:30 to 17:00, last order at 19:30, closed every Wednesday, and also closed on 9/25 for Chuseok.

Yun Sikdang has a lot of buzz around it. I kept seeing it recommended as a Masan must-eat on Threads, so I was curious. I heard waiting is basically required during peak hours — finally got to try it!

How long was the wait at late Sunday lunch?

At Yun Sikdang you write your name on the waitlist inside and wait 〜 there are also chairs out front to wait on. I went on a late Sunday lunch and didn't have to wait myself, but the dining room was still full of guests.

Parking at the furniture street public lot

Check the photo for the hours street parking is allowed in front of the restaurant! I parked at the public lot across from the restaurant on the Bukmasan furniture street. We forgot to grab our parking voucher on the way out ㅠ so make sure you get yours when you pay 〜

One menu only: the 16,000 won grilled bulgogi set meal

Yun Sikdang specializes in grilled bulgogi (seokseok bulgogi) and it's a single-menu spot. The grilled bulgogi set meal is 16,000 won per person, so there's no menu deliberation — they just prepare it for however many people you have. The price is solid too 👍🏻 We didn't add anything extra since the basics filled us up, but there are add-on options if you want them!

They said everything besides the basic side dishes starts cooking right when you order, so it takes a bit of time, but it came out faster than I expected. Honestly felt like a set-meal factory..!!

Seeing it in person, it looked popular across all ages. Lots of families with kids and lots of elderly guests too — a true neighborhood favorite. They have a high chair and the interior is clean!

How big is the spread for two people?

✅ Grilled bulgogi set meal, 16,000 won per person × 2. Wow... the table came out completely packed. Isn't this composition amazing for the price? Great for a meal or with a drink on the side. I almost ordered soju but held back 😅

Everyone who comes to Yun Sikdang expects to go through at least 2 bowls of rice.

The grilled bulgogi

The grilled bulgogi is amazing, as you'd expect from a place that specializes in it 〜 not too salty, no gamey smell, tender bulgogi that was delicious — kids would like it too, I'd recommend it! For two people, the bulgogi portion alone isn't huge, so if you want more, ordering extra is a good idea.

Doenjang stew with crab

This doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) was a total winner. Rich doenjang stew with crab in it, clean-tasting and delicious.

The grilled fish

Not sure what kind of fish it was, but it was crispy outside, tender inside — great. I didn't expect much from a side dish, but there was no fishy taste at all, the flesh was plump, and it went perfectly with white rice, so good 👍🏻

The kimchi pancake

This was exactly the kind of kimchi pancake (kimchijeon) I usually love, right up my alley. Honestly wanted to order another full plate ><

What banchan come with the set?

Usually when the main dish is great, the side dishes don't get much attention — but at Yun Sikdang, every single banchan was solid? Nothing was too salty, the seasoning was just right, and I enjoyed all of it 〜 Trying it, I got it — ah, this is why the place does so well. The yangnyeom gejang (soy-marinated crab) has a sansho pepper twist, which fans of that flavor will love.

You also get one piece of marinated abalone (jeonbokjang) per person, and it's not salty either.

The green lettuce was fresh too, and wrapping the meat in it was pure honey..💚

Is Yun Sikdang worth a visit?

There's also a free drink if you leave a Naver receipt review. Having visited Masan's Yun Sikdang myself, I completely get why it's so popular. Everything from the main dish to the banchan was delicious, so I'd definitely recommend it — especially when you're craving a home-cooked meal 〜 Everyone working there was kind, so I left in a great mood 😆 I'd also recommend it as a Masan hanjeongsik (Korean set-meal course) spot.
