Solo-friendly pizza slice spot near Seongsu Station: Pizza Slice Seoul

I was out exploring Seongsu and stopped for a simple meal at Pizza Slice.🍽️ I wanted something light, and slice pizza turned out to be just the thing.

6 minutes from Seongsu Station, a basement that doesn't feel like one

The exterior caught my eye for looking so exotic! It sits on a fairly quiet street, just past Seongsu's noisy, crowded main drag.

Heading down here leads straight into Pizza Slice. Even the stairway down was hip, haha.

It's on the basement floor, but with sunlight pouring through the floor-to-ceiling windows, it didn't feel like a basement at all — more like eating on the ground floor!

The interior felt hip but calm, thanks to the big windows framing a natural view. That made it a nice atmosphere to eat with others, but also totally comfortable for solo dining! The whole place had a quiet vibe, good for enjoying a meal at your own pace.

From single seats to round tables — what's the seating like?

Here's the overall layout. Near the entrance there are single tables, and further inside there's a variety of spacious seating.

Took this from the spot with the window view! Thanks to the big windows, it felt open and neat rather than cramped.

I took a window seat, perfect for a no-pressure solo meal! Since it was a weekday and not too busy, I could sit by the big window and eat in peace.🍃

Menu and prices

The pizza lineup included homemade meatball pizza, pepperoni pizza, mushroom pizza, and jalapeño cream cheese pizza. You can also add buffalo wings, fries, and Caesar salad on the side. From the reviews, the sides seemed pretty popular too! Since I wanted something light, I ordered the Caesar salad on top of my pizza.

Today's Slice (combination) — one piece was plenty

I picked Today's Slice, the combination pizza, wanting a variety of toppings without going too heavy. It's a big slice, so one was enough! Depending on your appetite, two slices would probably make a full portion. They bake it fresh right after you order. It didn't quite have that just-out-of-the-oven freshness, which was a little disappointing, but the flavor was noticeably richer than your average pizza! 🍕👍

Sauces and spices to your taste

Sauces and spices are set out so you can season it however you like. I added pepper and some heat!🧂🔥 It subtly sharpened the flavor, which I liked. I'd recommend adding a little spice or hot sauce, just enough not to overpower the pizza itself.

How it paired with the Caesar salad

The Caesar salad I had alongside it really boosted the pizza.🥗✨ In particular, the thinly sliced cheese added a salty, savory depth that worked beautifully with the salad. It paired well with the pizza too, and honestly had an addictive quality — I kept going back for more!

How was it for eating solo?

After eating, I wandered around the space a bit more. The green view through the big windows kept things from feeling cramped, and even visiting alone, I could relax and take my time.🌿 The pizza and salad paired well, and together they made for a satisfying meal. Perfect for solo dining! It suited me well for the relaxed, light meal I wanted in Seongsu.
