I was looking for a Wangsimni bar where a friend and I could drink and watch baseball together, and that's how I ended up at Rainbow Pocha! It's a pocha (Korean-style pub) with a genuinely huge menu, decent value, and a spacious layout that works fine for a casual date too. Best of all, there are a ton of group tables, so if you're looking for a spot for a Wangsimni work dinner, welcome party, or any kind of gathering, this is one I'd personally recommend!
Where is Rainbow Pocha, and what is the baseball-screen atmosphere like?
Rainbow Pocha is a reasonable walking distance from Wangsimni Station Exit 10. It sits on the 2nd floor of a building tucked between alleys.
There's neon lighting right from the entrance, giving it a slightly hipper vibe than your average neighborhood pocha~
Once inside, the place is bigger than expected, with a range of seating from round tables to group sections that fit several people. Sure enough, that day I saw plenty of both — couples on dates and larger tables of people clearly there for a work dinner or welcome party. If you're looking for a Wangsimni bar for a group, it's probably a good idea to book ahead through Naver Reservation if there are a lot of you!
And what I personally loved was being able to watch baseball on the in-store screen! We drank while watching the game together that day, and it seemed like a solid Wangsimni bar for a group to gather and watch baseball during the season.
The complimentary sweet potato sticks that came out first~ good to snack on when you're hungry.

Spicy boneless chicken feet with a hint of charcoal smoke
The main set we chose was the boneless chicken feet + corn cheese for ₩29,900! The spicy chicken feet came paired with corn cheese, making it a great combo for switching between spicy and savory bites.
The chicken feet have no bones so they're easy to eat, and the sauce was properly coated on — exactly what you want as a drinking snack~
Ordering a rice ball on the side works great too, and since quail eggs came with it, we enjoyed all kinds of combinations.
Generous oven-baked corn cheese and the self-made rice ball
And then the generous oven-baked corn cheese — on a totally different level of quality from the sad little corn cheese side dish you get at a sashimi place!
Taking a bite of corn cheese here and there tames the spiciness too, so there's a real reason people order it alongside the chicken feet.
I added the self-made rice ball on top of this. You mix in seaweed flakes and make it yourself, and it goes great with the chicken feet sauce — I'd recommend it whenever you want something a bit more filling.
Cookierunt for 9,900 won: the dessert to finish on
And the thing that quietly won me over that day was the Cookierunt for ₩9,900! At first I had no idea what it was from the name alone, but it turned out to be a dessert with excellent-quality ice cream sandwiched between Cookie & Cream-style biscuits. After a decent amount of drinks and food, there's always that moment when you crave something sweet — this was perfect for exactly that moment~
If you're in Wangsimni looking for somewhere to watch baseball with a drink, or a spot for a large group work dinner or welcome party, this place is solid thanks to the spacious seating and wide menu options. Also recommend it as a Wangsimni date bar for two, drinking beer with chicken feet!
