Instead of going straight to the bed, they started with a consultation first. They brought out a cool drink while we talked, so I could sip it slowly while discussing my skin concerns. Little touches like this already made it feel like a proper spa visit.

Rather than just going all-in with intense treatment, we talked together about what direction would work best given my current skin condition. Since I'm already getting lymphatic drainage treatment elsewhere, we agreed to go with gentler pressure on the face and instead focus more thoroughly on releasing the décolleté and shoulders.

The treatment I received was the Mulgwang Tox Care Facial. The overall order went cleansing → exfoliation → contour and décolleté care → modeling pack.

Cleansing and exfoliation

It started with thorough cleansing to clear away impurities on the face, followed by exfoliation. During this, the therapist mentioned that more sebum had built up than expected.ㅜㅜ I hadn't noticed on my own, but getting the treatment made me realize there was a real reason my skin texture had felt rough. Even so, the exfoliation wasn't rough at all — it was done delicately so as not to irritate the skin, which made it comfortable to receive.

Contour care and décolleté/shoulder work

Next came the contour care and décolleté treatment. Since I'm already getting lymphatic treatment, they used lighter pressure on my face rather than strong pressure. Surprisingly though, even with light pressure, it felt really refreshing.

I personally used to think stronger pressure always meant a more satisfying massage, but this time really proved me wrong. The therapist's touch was so precise and skillful that even with light pressure, I could feel tight spots releasing.

The décolleté and shoulder care in particular was amazing. While working on my shoulders, I genuinely thought 'this is heaven.' It felt like she was finding each knotted spot one by one and releasing it, and the tension just melted away. It genuinely felt like accumulated fatigue and toxins were draining out of my body all at once. Honestly, I wished I could get just an hour of shoulder treatment alone. The facial care was great too, of course, but the décolleté and shoulder work were what impressed me most.

They finished up with a modeling pack. After all the careful work beforehand, wrapping up with the pack left my whole face feeling noticeably more comfortable.
