Gangnam nail salon nude gel care for nail-biters: Naeil Didi

Hiii everyone?! It's been n months since my last nail appointment... I've actually had a nail-biting habit since high school ㅠ whenever I get nervous... I keep picking at hangnails and biting them all off ㅠㅠ so I'm back to nails. Let me recommend a nail salon near Apgujeong Rodeo. After a lot of deliberation for the sake of my nail health, I picked "Naeil Didi" near Apgujeong Rodeo!

Ran over like an angel ^^ㅋㅋㅋㅋ😇 I booked through Naver Reservations. Especially on weekends, everyone needs to book ahead!!!! They sent reminders and were so attentive even before I arrived, thank you. And parking was available, which is huge!! I got confused about the parking and called briefly, and they were super kind right away ㅠㅠ

Location and parking at Naeil Didi, a Gangnam Rodeo nail salon

It's really close to Apgujeong Rodeo Station, right? Naeil Didi and Naeil Didi Sweet are in the same building! I think it might have the best view of any nail salon near Apgujeong Rodeo ㅎ

It's located in the same building as the main branch of Apgujeong Gogitjip! The puppy at the barbecue place on the 1st floor is completely adorable...ㅎㅎ For parking, head toward the front of Apgujeong Gogitjip and there's a valet! There was an enforcement car parked where the valet cars needed to go, so I had to loop around again;; A nail salon with parking support is genuinely rare. Parking is available for the duration of your appointment, and the valet fee is ₩5,000!!! Just being able to park in Apgujeong feels like a blessing..^^

Thankfully Naeil Didi has an elevator ㅎㅎㅎㅋ heading up to the top floor... trudging along. I didn't really know where to go so I just followed other people going up further, but actually you just get greeted right where you get off ㅋ

Turns out this whole extra floor is here because they expanded ㅎㅎ they must be super popular near Apgujeong Rodeo to expand like this ㄷㄷ apparently there's a whole pedicure section too ㅎ Since I was on the floor below, I trudged back down again

Naeil Didi Sweet ㅎㅎ open 11am to 9pm. Office workers could totally swing by right after work. Weekends are super popular so ㅋㅎ what's great about Naeil Didi near Apgujeong Rodeo is that you can book through Naver Reservations!!!!! Phone bookings are such a hassle for everyone^_ㅠ these days if a place doesn't have Naver booking, I honestly just don't go — it's one of the things that seals the deal for me ㅎㅎ

Interior, seating, and membership

White-toned and so clean interior >_< with soft, mellow music playing too, it already put me in a good mood ㅎㅎ

Someone next to me was getting a pedicure too ㅎㅎ of course, summer is pedicure season ㅋ hehe 💅

They showed me to my seat! There was a chair next to it for putting my bag down, and it was nice. Also, do you see the backrest — a comfortable chair? Ever since I was tortured on a rock-hard stool once ㅋㅋㅋ I always check the chair now ㅎㅎ;;

With a membership, the base price drops noticeably and there are add-ons too, so if you work or live nearby it's worth considering. They even have hand cream — such a thoughtful touch. ㅎㅎㅎ

At the place I used to go... the owner was, let's just say, mentally unwell (not an insult, I genuinely think that was the case..) and there were like 18,420 rules customers had to follow;;; but here, a super kind staff member greeted me and I honestly didn't know what to do with myself >_< hehe, everyone was kind the whole time

Careful care first, for someone with a nail-biting habit

They start by tidying up the nails first! Surprisingly there was a phone stand there.. was it for the staff to use? I wondered, but turns out it was for me?! While they work on one hand, they said I could use my phone comfortably ㅋ they set it up for me;;;; I usually just hold my phone awkwardly, so this was genuinely moving,....

So much to do... it had been half a year, so my nails were a total mess, and they took care of every detail so carefully. It's not that they're slow-handed — they just do the basic care step really thoroughly

This was the legendary moving-moment ㅠ I had bitten the skin next to my nails so badly I was about to bleed, but they checked it so carefully, said "one moment" and brought over disinfectant ㅜㅠㅜㅠ ugh, elsewhere they've just made me bleed while trimming; but here... they treated the wound I'd already caused myself, and it felt kind of... healing

I had genuinely chewed my nails to pieces and had terrible hangnails ㅠㅠㅎㅎㅎ and it was already tidied up beautifully... this is exactly why I can't quit getting my nails done ㅠ but seriously, they're amazing at care — sometimes when you go somewhere that half-asses this part, it just doesn't last ㅠ

Next they applied nail treatment.ㅎㅎ You know this costs extra elsewhere, right...? Felt like I was getting free money;;;

They had separate slots for the left and right hand, which I loved! When you stack them together in one slot, things smudge a lot... and the position was so ergonomic, right where your arm naturally sits, so putting them in and out wasn't awkward at all — it was really nice

Choosing a nude-tone one-color gel

The eternal struggle of deciding what nail design to get ^^ Maybe because they specialize in wedding nails, everything felt so feminine and sparkly, full of dreamy vibes ㅎㅎ they use genuine Swarovski crystal parts, so I even took a video to show how they sparkle ㅋ after going back and forth... since it had been a while and I needed something office-appropriate ㅎ I went with a plain one-color

I said I wanted a color like the one on their nails, and they pulled out a full 4 options to show me.. (mega-moved again3333) they explained each one, and when I picked the one that appealed to me most, they said it was the same color as theirs ㅎㅎ yesss lucky me

Can you see that thin detail brush????ㅠㅠ they applied the color so precisely with it, and — if you've had gel before, you know — some places apply it so bumpy and thick. Here, they applied it and then flipped my finger to shape it round;; I've genuinely never experienced this before, I just kept singing their praises the whole time...

They kept asking if the shape and length were okay ㅎ answering every little question so kindly, it made the whole appointment such a pleasant experience ㅎㅎ they didn't let even tiny specks of dust slide and redid things without complaint (you know a lot of places don't bother with this, right? ㅠ seriously)

How does it look?!?! I've been really into this nude-tone nail lately, and as soon as it was done, I genuinely felt more put-together, like a different person

They even applied nail treatment again right before I left.. turns out your nails can end up healthier after a manicure than before ^^..ㅋㅋ

How I felt after it was all done

By the time I arrived it was evening, so it was already getting dark... the care itself was done with a lot of attention, but their hands were fast for the actual nail work, so it wrapped up smoothly before my butt went numb from sitting ^^

My boyfriend said they were so pretty the moment he saw them ㅎ if you're looking for nails near Apgujeong Rodeo, you have to check out Naeil Didi! It's the little details that make or break the final result, and on top of that they're kind and tidy ㅋ there's no reason not to go

This one's from a few days later, on my way to work, when I suddenly thought my nails looked as beautiful as Eun-gyo ㅋ so I snapped a photo. Totally look like polished pebbles, right?!?! I wonder how gorgeous the wedding nails must be? Someday when it's my turn for wedding nails ㅋ I'll come back here. Stay tuned. (random teaser ㅋ)
