When you're eating out with a group for a work dinner, it's nice to find a place where everyone can eat different things to their own taste instead of ordering just one menu item — so let me introduce Songrimbok Jangeo, a great unlimited eel refill spot for a Cheongna company dinner!
Eel usually feels like a pricier dish, but here you can eat as much freshwater eel as you want and enjoy grilled meat on top of it, which makes it a pretty good value pick in Cheongna.
Songrimbok Jangeo Freshwater Eel Unlimited Refill Cheongna Direct Branch: parking and hours

First, there's basement parking in the building, so getting there was hassle-free. It's open every day from 11:50 AM to 11:00 PM, so it works whether you're stopping by for lunch or hosting an evening company dinner.

The dining room is fairly spacious, so it's good for larger groups, and with multiple tables set up it also seemed fine for family meals or gatherings. As dinnertime approached, more and more customers started coming in.

Unlimited eel for ₩29,900, add ₩10,000 for beef too
Songrimbok Jangeo's biggest draw is definitely the unlimited eel refill. The adult unlimited-refill price is ₩29,900 per person, which feels pretty reasonable given today's dining prices. If you love eel but usually hold back because of the cost, this setup will especially satisfy you.
Normally with grilled eel you order once and then keep thinking about the cost of ordering more, but here it's unlimited, so you can let go of that price worry from the start.
And here's the thing — add just ₩10,000 and you can switch to unlimited beef too. Unlimited beef and eel for ₩39,900!! There's really no way to pass this up.
A clean self-bar

The self-bar was kept nice and clean, and you can freely help yourself to garlic, ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), and various lettuce wraps without holding back.

And right next to it is the unlimited meat and eel refill corner.

Once you sit down, they bring out the first round of eel and meat, and after that you go to the self-bar for whatever you want. Both the eel and the meat were well stocked.
A place where you can eat both eel and meat

This is the first plate. It came out neatly arranged.

It felt a little novel at first that you could grab as much eel as you wanted from the self-bar and grill it yourself. I thought unlimited-refill places would just pile on eel and skimp on everything else, but since there was meat prepared alongside the eel, there was never a dull moment during the meal. Grilling the eel golden brown first, then switching to pork belly or chicken neck meat, then going back for more eel — that back-and-forth was especially great for a group.

So how was the unlimited-refill eel?
I worried the unlimited eel might not be great quality, but the flesh was plump and it looked amazing once grilled. Watching the eel turn golden brown, I understood why people go for eel as a health-boosting food. Cut into bite-sized pieces and slowly grilled, the outside gets golden while the inside stays moist. The eel itself is on the thicker side, so you really get the texture of the flesh in each bite, and paired with ginger or pickles it wasn't the least bit greasy — you just kept eating.

Not just the eel — the meat was also so fresh that my friend and I kept saying "wait, how is there any profit at this price?!" while scarfing it down. Ginger and sauce, which are essential with eel, were also provided, so you can add them to your liking.

Drinks to pair with your company dinner
Doesn't the pork color look great too? That fresh, bright red made it look delicious even before grilling. When you visit for a company dinner, drinks usually come along, and here they have soju and beer as well as Hanmaek draft beer, bokbunja draft beer, and other options — great to pair with the eel. If you're into the eel-and-bokbunja combo, it fits right into a company dinner order. With so many bokbunja-based drink options, like draft beer with bokbunja or a bokbunja highball, regular drinkers will be especially happy here.
Why I'd recommend this as a Cheongna company dinner spot
If you're looking for a company dinner spot in Cheongna that's easy on the wallet but still filling, I'd recommend Songrimbok Jangeo. The biggest advantage is being able to eat unlimited eel, plus enjoying pork belly and chicken neck meat alongside it, which made it great for a group visit.
The dining room is spacious and parking is available, so it works well for family meals, friend gatherings, and company dinners alike. What I liked most was not having to worry about portions because of price — you can just eat as much as you want. If you're looking for a company dinner spot in Cheongna or want to eat your fill of eel at a good price, I'd say enjoy a hearty grilled eel meal at Songrimbok Jangeo.
